Brother, could you list all of them, please? I love to hear and sing the old songs.

I'm deaf, having lost my hearing at age 14 due to meningitis, in 1979. These are the songs I remember. Thank you from my heart, which continues to sing and accompany me 🎶🎵🎶

I like how the song, just below the title would be an indication of how to sing the song. Such as the one shown above it states "Happily: With a smooth lilt". We don't use the word "lilt" much anymore. To me that was the brand of a hair product my mom and other sisters would use!  I also miss the postlude of Happy Are the Merciful.

I still have a few of those songbooks.

An interesting tidbit - for the most part, the "Introduction" played for the singing of those songs were usually created by playing the first half of the first line and the last half of the last line.

Once a brother announced how to sing and instead of lilt he said tilt.  My girlfriend and I leaned to one side and sung the song laughing.  Also the repeats on I think it was, Take Sides With Jehovah.
