Our honeymoon will be 3 weeks here. We're staying in Charleston 3 weeks, then going to the Lake for 2 nights, then to my hometown for 3 nights, then to Asheville for 4 nights, then to Boone for 3 nights, then back to charleston for 2 nights...then to Canada. he won't have to work until the wintertime except maybe 3 weeks in July so we will have a LONG honeymoon. He took me to 3 hotsprings while I was there in dec. Fairmont, Aimsworth, and Lucier. he also took me by radium, but we didn't stop there. We will certainly be ging back but I will remember to use my American Identity to get the cheaper rate...LOL. I will definately keep my American Citizenship, but I'm also planning on becoming a Canadian Citizen, too. I will have be a duel Citizen. It will take a while though. First I have to become a permenate resident so I can get the benefits, then after 3 years I can apply for citizenship, although I'm hoping the new system will be here by then and we will all be world citizens without borders. I will have healthcare as soon as I become a permenant resident, but Pieter will have insurance on me anyway through his business so I won't have to worry about that.
He lives only about 10 minutes from his KH. They have 5 congregation in the 2 KH's there. Also an Assembly Hall and the C.O. apartment. It is a big complex. I've met many of the friends there and they are planning us a picnic when we get back just to celebrate our marriage. They are very a very friendly group. All the Canadians I met are just like southerners. People are very friendly and will talk to you in the stores and such. I'm really looking forward to being there. I've always wanted to move to Canada ever since the draft dodgers did it....hahaha!
