Hello dear friends! I found this group but wasn't sure how to upload our stories, poetry, musings... etc. I hope I am doing this correctly. Below you will find a few of some of my older poems. Please let me know what you think. The first poem is one that I wrote for the elders in my congregation: A Poem of Appreciation For all the things you do for us, we would like to say Thank You. You have been given a serious job from our Father and great God Jehovah, and you have accepted the task with joy. Thank You. You shepherd the flock with tender loving care. You provide counsel and at times needed correction, guided by Holy Spirit through eager ernest prayer. Thank You. No matter the time of day, we the sheep know that when we need you we only have to call. Thank You. The Scriptures say you are “Gifts in Men” and truly you are. Our beloved elders of the Madisonville congregation whom we treasure and adore -- Thank You. This next poem I wrote when I really reflected on how the scriptures improve our lives. READ, RESPOND & RELY Reading, 'Riting, and 'Rithmetic may be the branches of the learning tree. But truly I say to you that there are 3 R's, that can lead to life eternally. READ, RESPOND & RELY! Give these three a try. Sing with me this happy song, Jehovah's Word is never wrong. When you daily the Bible READ, you allow Jehovah to plant a seed. Once that seed takes root and grow, in your life Jah's spirit will flow. READ, RESPOND & RELY! Give these three a try. Sing with me this happy song, Jehovah's Word is never wrong. When to the Bible you RESPOND, with Jehovah you build a bond. A bond that lasts your life through, and friendship with his son Jesus too. READ, RESPOND & RELY! Give these three a try. Sing with me this happy song, Jehovah's Word is never wrong. When upon the Bible you RELY, Blessings from Jehovah will multiply. All of this is with great certainty, because God's Word is for eternity. READ, RESPOND & RELY! Give these three a try. Sing with me this happy song, Jehovah's Word is never wrong. Lastly, this next poem is one that I wrote after a dear friend, who was like my baby sister, had passed. I decided to post a picture at the end of this poem. 😀 I am the sister on the right. Keep On Keepin’ On Right now we are feeling much heartache and sorrow. But remember my friends… we have a brighter tomorrow. A time where pain, sickness, and Death itself will be done… All wonderful blessings we shall see if we just Keep on Keepin’ on. I can hear you urging us to keep up our pace. You have fought the good fight… you have finished your race. Towards our goal we are still running, in paradise with you we shall join. Our God Jehovah, who cannot lie, says we will... If we just Keep On Keepin’ on. Right now my dear sister, for a little while you sleep. Our Father’s loyal love is just and true… safe in his memory you will keep. The time is now urgent much more work is to be done… We cannot tire out… We MUST Keep on Keepin’ On!

I'll be attending the same assembly in Indianapolis. I can't wait! I too heard that there will be Polish delegates there, but I not sure of what other delegates will be in attendance.

Does anyone know when the JW app update will be available for the Android platform? A brother told me to get an IPad when I was first considering buying a tablet. He said and I quote "all the brothers up at Bethel use iPads. When new releases come out they're released first for the Apple platform." I thought he was just saying that because he is an Apple geek. I prefer the Android platform. I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I guess I'm an Android fan. But now...I see that he was right. Oh well, must be patient.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but how can you get an electronic version of the KM (preferably an epub)? I am planning on getting a tablet soon, but for now I use my Samsung Galaxy phone.

Hello everyone! I decided to post the picture that I took of myself with my cell phone. That was really funny. It's one of the pics I submitted per the instructions in the forum to get full membership. I'll be adding some other pics later on. Wish I had some pet pictures to put up, but I don't have any pets at the moment. I am thinking of getting a kitten in a few months. Would love to have a dog, but my apartment complex has a bias against dogs. You can have most pets -- just not a dog. Oh well, until I move...
