  1. I went to the post office closest the KH, and the worker was rude to me only after I asked for international stamps. I excused myself without making a purchase and went to the post office closest to my home. When I asked for the international stamps, the worker instantly had them at the ready, and excitedly chirped, "we're happy to provide for this effort" and she grinned so happily. Made me realize how many people are getting a witness just from doing their jobs. Sent from my SM-T110 using Tapatalk
  2. I've done 18 so far, ( my goal is 24). The people of my house, not including myself have done 30. So 1248 Sent from my SM-T110 using Tapatalk
  3. From Alabama, USA its $1 to send 1 letter. I plan on writing all of them as much as I can. It really is about volume.
  4. Sorry, Musky...my questions were very disorganized. I get that way when I'm frustrated. Thank you for your help. The meekspace.com and isilo on Google play were very easy to use. Both of those are big helps. Surfergirl showed me how to email my doc files to myself and open them with Adobe through Sync-ing... and I've given up on the laptop getting the full WT library because of the tablet. So all that's left of the initial barrage of questions is, can you edit PDF files? and how?
  5. Gracious! I'm Egyptian, and my daughter is Greek. and my mother is Germanic!
  6. I have a story along these lines. This was 17 years ago, and my daughter was 3, and was paying rapt attention to the speaker at the KH. He was talking about the Trojan horse and how it was deceitfully used. The first time he said "trojan" my daughters' face lit up with recognition, and at the top of her lungs she sang the condom commercial "TROJAN MAAAAN!!!!!" The speaker got tickled as did the congregation. I was embarrassed silly, but loved that she was paying attention. (After that moment, it became a habit to mute the TV commercials.)
  7. I'm technologically challenged, so any help is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to get my Bible Highlights notes from my laptop to my Android tablet (couldn't get my .doc file to load from email), and trying to download PDF WT and Awake to my tablet. I use JW.org to pull those up, but can't get it to stay on my tablet to use when there is no wi-fi. Also, I want editable PDF...is that possible? My last two questions (thank you for your patience ) are, can i get the full WT library to stay on my tablet? and how? The WT library disk won't load onto my laptop, because file something something is corrupted ( i need to erase my computers something on the hard drive and reload the blah blah blah from the startup discs I didn't keep). Again, thank you for any help you can offer
