I am thinking about a resent watchtower study which talked about hospitality & Jesus first miracle of turning water into wine. Jesus understood the culture of the people who where putting on the event and showed empathy to their situation. I no this is not what your asking but I'm just reminding ones that Jesus didn't have an issue with alcohol at social gatherings, or even large gatherings. We have to be careful not to make rules or to make judgements on others. It is great that you are organising a social gathering, it is so important for us to associate and have fun together. If your event is in a restaurant then people will be aware that alcohol can be purchased there . It is very responsible of you to want to make sure of others consciences and not stumbling ones and that you are doing all that you can to be a responsible caring Christian. So just wondering where I can find Jw.org and wol app in Apple apps I could about a year ago when website first out but when updated to a iPhone 5 couldn't seem to find so just used ephid - now got iPhone 6+ especially to use in min and at meetings and still can't download app??? I like the little icon boxes so I can just click on and open Anyone able to help ... - please

We got a movie out in the weekend called " big miracle" or something similar - had drew Barrymore and a couple of other recognisable actors about a pod of whales stuck in the ice in Alaska. -teased on true story - not too bad a movie to watch with family - I didn't notice any sex , violence, bad language was in recent release in New Zealand

So was out in field the other day with a sister and while on a study she comment on ow she loved the hobbit book and looking forward to the movie - then she added its a conscience issue and turned to me and said I hope I haven't stumbled you ! I found this funny cause It bought back to me a conversation we had had earlier about a younger brother and his music he had picked for his engagement party - some rock / metal music and her response was negative to that ??? But it did get me thinking I don't think anyone would say " Harry potter" movies are a conscience choice.? It seems pretty clear that these movies we would avoid a little like " twilight movies" But what is the difference between lord of ring movies/ hobbit movie with magic, sorcery , etc and Harry potter? Is it a conscience issue?
