  1. I prefer to turn off auto-update on my devices and to be notified when updates are available.
  2. In reality, I believe thread resurrections can be a problem mostly when there are many pages of posts and then we end up having to reread all of them to get the context of the discussion. I think you're in the clear.
  3. And there it is. Boom goes the dynamite. Ha! Hey, 4 year-old thread resurrected. Jonathan is in the doghouse now.
  4. My understanding of the article is alleged abuse occurred in California, then he later moved to South Carolina but attended a North Carolina congregation.
  5. This reminds me, in the 80's when the Shaka Zulu TV miniseries came out, I prank called (before I became a Witness) a friend's mother and asked for Shaka Zulu. No kidding, she just laughed out loud for a couple minutes. I hung up while she was still laughing. Ahhh, good times!
  6. Just noticed that the first image in the link shows less of the faces than the full Awake cover. I'm at a loss as to who the other people are.
  7. What I came up with, from left to right of the ones you can see a complete face: Genghis Khan, a Pharaoh, a Caesar, Jesus, Shaka Zulu(???), Henry VIII, a greek philosopher, Cleopatra. In the very back, far right looks similar to Shakespeare.
  8. Might this be helpful? Keep scrolling down to bottom of page. http://www.bukasblog.com.ng/2016/03/latest-FTA-channels-upgrade-strong-decoder-frequency.html
  9. I wish they had left out the one f-word, but otherwise, very good. Edit - Wow, 4 in a row. I'm going to stop now. Lates!
  10. I'm feeling a little guilty about the last one, so this one will be serious. The Emperor's New Groove (2000, rated G) - A kid's movie that even adults find hilarious.
  11. From Justin to Kelly (2003) A finer movie has never been made.
  12. Absolutely. As long as it's the 1995, Colon Firth TV mini-series.
  13. I'm going to assume he has been diagnosed with OCD. May I offer some possibilities : He is embarrassed by it, realizes his thinking is not "normal," is very self-critical, might feel stupid - even if he "projects" a different image outwardly. You are his spouse, so he cares more about the way you see him than anyone else. That might explain why he acts more sensitive to you (as opposed to others) about being helped, taught things, etc. He doesn't want you to think of him as stupid and helpless. He might not even realize why he acts that way. Is pride involved? Maybe. It's hard to try to change OCD thinking, so... gird up your loins? Just some possibilities.
