Me I think's Achievements

  1. Brother João Sorry if someone has asked this before, but how did you get a pdf or epub of the Kingdom Ministry??
  2. Love it! This is one of my favorite songs. I love to sing it - full out, especially when I'm alone. Even though, as the old saying goes, I can't carry a note in a bucket. And the pictures - truly makes you appreciate the beauty Jehovah has given us, and the ability to enjoy it!

How I Found the Truth

  • How I found the Truth
My older brother was killed in Viet Nam in 1968. My mother had never forced us to go to church. After his death she worried that he was burning in hell and it was her fault. (My grandmother was constantly tell her we, my siblings and I, were heathens and going straight to hell because we didn't go to church.) That summer a young man named Timothy placed a truth book with my mother. After several attempted "back calls" he caught her at home. She expressed her concerns about where my brother was and wanted to know if he was suffering because of her. He referred to the "little blue book" he had left with her. Momma went right to it. "Timothy opened it to Chapter 5 "Where Are The Dead". He told her that chapter would answer her question from the bible. He made arrangements to come back. After several tries, he caught her at home and a bible study was started. Eventually, my younger sister and I started to sit in. In December, 1971, my mother and I made public our dedication to Jehovah by water baptism.
