My son got a visit in Ghent (Belgium) !!! Someone of our brothers gave him a magazine today while in a "ship to ship" ministry in Ghent's harbor. He was surprised and impressed as he said. Hope it will lead to something... I would like to say special thanks to those of you, my dear friends who make efforts to learn russian. ❤

A sister I know from New Zealand just contacted me on messenger. She's Maori, and as precious as I thought! We used the camera, and it was just so much fun. Sometimes, these computers are just amazing. Well, most of the time! It was a gift. Just a gift

Well,  we have a new Christian brother ....My Brother Rod was baptized at our circuit assembly yesterday.   He was the oldest of 9 baptized yesterday.  7 brothers and 2 sisters.
I cried like a baby when Rod was baptized.   It reminded me of my other brother who I was privileged to study with and he was baptized in 2011.   He died 2 years later.     Memories flooded back.   By the way,  Rod's wife who is not studying or interested YET came that whole morning and watched his baptism.    He was one happy camper.    I am also.

I didn't realize until today that the abbreviation for Song of Solomen in JWL is "Ca"!  Why do you suppose that is?

I have just arrived from Brazil and I am glad to report that during the Olympic Games we gave an extensive witness in all areas of Rio with the carts. There was not a single touristic area without carts. The 1.2 million people in town saw us everywhere. Hundreds of brothers participated covering the areas 12 hours or more every single day.  Nice time to be in Rio.

Is anyone else missing the Sept. 1, 2006 Watchtower in their JW Library?  I just noticed that it's missing from the 2006 Watchtowers when I went to study for the midweek meeting today.  Kinda wierd.

Finally have a 2 day "vacation" planned in a couple of weeks (going to the Columbus, OH zoo!!!). First va-ca in 13 years.  After our midweek meeting about simplifiying, now I feel guilty about it!

Our RC is Aug. 26-28 and our CA is Sept. 10th! Our hall in Indy sold, don't even know where we are going yet for the CA. Gonna get a ton of spiritual food all at once!

Everyone bring your kleenex to this weeks midweek meeting! They are showing the resurrection video from the 2014 convention (of the sisters).  The poor brother who is giving the part at our hall, just lost his sister last week.v 

It happened again!  Showed up for service this morning.  It was the "regular" group of 4 who normally meet on Mondays and me.  There was no room for me, so I had to go home. I'm a fifth wheel if I show up on Mondays, this has happened about 3 times.  Did a return visit on the way home, she wasn't at home.  Gonna try again tomorrow. Sure wish I could count the time I would of gotten in by showing up for service and then not being able to go out (either because no one else showed up, or they coudn't fit me in the group)!  Oh well, I figure Jehovah took notice at least and gave me a thumbs up for the effort.

I blew my mind last night thinking about where Jehovah's abode really must be.  They just found a galaxy that is 13.4 billion light years away which is incomprehensible to me considering light travels at 186,000 miles per second.  It seems our universe has no end and yet, Jehovah is probably far beyond our physical universe - unless the bright light from that galaxy is actually his glory finally reaching our skies!
