  1. "In comparison, Trump is just a little innocent kid playing in a sand pit. " Truth be told that's who he's trying to be like, he envies him the most out of all the dictators of the world he has shown himself to admire... I won't be suprised when the whole truth comes out about him...he's taking lessons from the expert ex KGB putin, that's his boy.. I find it sickening....can't wait till this system ans all its corruption is gone!😳🤮
  2. This is fascinating.. I want to research this more and share with my family. My MIL ran in excitedly saying "this is it!"and thinks it will all happen in October. Now isn't that getting a bit ahead of things? I told her we need to wait and stay alert but not be stating definitively about when or what statements made by any world leaders who are known to use fanciful terminology this can be very deceiving. Now I saw this post ans its what I was thinking, I'd like to have a clearer understanding of it. 🤓
  3. I'm doing personal research to decide where my conscience really is in the subject, I got a letter to appear. I had once years ago but it was a domestic violence case and I couldn't be unbiased in that subject having had experience with that. But beyond that I had never really considered jury duty an conscience issue till my new husband said he thought we aren't supposed to do it as witnesses, so Herr I am looking into what others have said as well as researching jwlibrary..I appreciate your response and I will do that too!
  4. Looks like chicken to me! [emoji1] [emoji215] [emoji486] [emoji490] Is this suppose to be now? Making peace at home suggests that.. We can live a measure of Paradise now, by keeping peace in the home ❤[emoji5] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you! We never give up hope,y son wasn't always inclined spiritually but he decided he wanted to live Jehovah's way when he had a slight taste of worldly life through bad association and it made him contemplate his choices. He really took hold of Jehovah's hand over this last year. He just turned 18.
  6. And after his baptism with the dear brother who baptized him. He is our close family friend, like another grampa to my kids and it was a real privilege for him to arrange to be the one to baptize my son [emoji4] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. My son in his seat for baptismal candidates this past weekend! I'm a proud mama [emoji4] [emoji177] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  10. Just finished listening to those amazing experiences., I had heard a couple of them before but not all...My daughters got in on it and began listening as well..,,They talked about how they take for granted the meetings sometimes by not always wanting to wake up to get dressed to go and how these brothers, sisters and new ones fight hard to know Jehovah, how they aren't allowed to have meetings like ours, or sing the kingdom songs!! Wow, we were all very encouraged! My girls have a better appreciation after listening to these experiences..;) Thanks for sharing! Agape ❤

  12. Aloha friends! As most reading this know, there is a lot not being told in the mainstream media, but it will eventually gain momentum as more people learn the facts..I'm in Hawaii and we are being affected already more than people realize. It's sad that this is a culture built on fishing and eating fresh fish from he ocean and now it's contaminated..Many people showing thyroid issues also. These are a couple of informative links shared to me by a friend here in Hawaii who is a naturopath and is getting many inquiries because health issues, thyroid related. http://hothawaiiradiation.com/at-the-very-least-your-days-of-eating-pacific-ocean-fish-are-over.html Secondly, If you have time,(about like watching a movie) I suggest listening to the talk radio blog at this link below. It's extremely eye opening and you will learn alot of what is really happening environmentally with this tragic event. It is long, but worth it.. Skip to 6:10 in order to get passed the boring stock market numbers blah blah..Dr. Atkins , is a guest speaker who knows has studied this stuff for years and has some good info, you will be in shock when you hear, well at least I was, but then again I'm not surprised, knowing this system is quickly dying out and not long until Jehovah God cleanses this earth once and for all, the covering up of the devastation is typical of mans greed that will soon be brought to ruin by the Creator. But I think it's good to be informed of what going on, while not becoming parinoid either..Do what we can to take care of our health with this in mind and in order to preach the good news of the only real solution to this big ugly mess, Gods kingdom! Again, link to the talk radio interview begin listening at 6:10 in order to skip non essential talk.... http://birthofanewearth.blogspot.com/2013/07/americans-are-in-grave-danger-due-to.html?m=1
  13. What is a Jehovah's Witness's favorite band...? A: The DOORS!!! My daughter sent this to me in a text one day when I was in the ministry, saying she thought it was a fitting joke since I was out in service....lol... I shared it with the car group & we had a great laugh... only one older sister didn't get it....
  14. Hi Lynn! You're talking about Lomi Lomi Salmon...Good stuff! Here's a recipe.... This is an island classic that’s traditionally served at luaus as a side dish, alongside kalua pig. It goes great with roast meats, or even other seafood dishes packing a bunch of flavour with each refreshing bite. If lomi lomi makes you think of spas, it’s because “lomi” is the Hawaiian word for masseuse and is used in spas to describe a Hawaiian massage. The dish gets it’s name from the way the ingredients are massaged, breaking them up and helping all the flavours meld together. You could of course mix it with a spoon, but it won’t look the same, nor would it be nearly as fun to make:-) Traditionally the fresh salmon is rubbed with Alaea salt and left overnight to cure, but for the sake of convenience, but you can gravlax from the grocery store. Since you want the sweetest ripest tomatoes and , use cherry tomatoes of possible, but nothing beets a sweet, juicy, vine ripened tomato. You’re supposed to use Maui sweet onions and green onions, but not everyone can get Maui onions. As for the citrus, it’s a matter of personal preference, but if you want to go for the real deal, skip the citrus. 1 C ripe tomatoes peeled and cut into 1/4″ dice 1 serrano chili pepper finely minced 1/4 C sweet white onions(Maui if avail.) or sweet red onion finely minced 4 oz roughly chopped salted salmon (gravlax will work as well) Squeeze of lemon or lime 2 Tbs chopped chives or green onions Add everything except the chives in a bowl and work together with your fingers, breaking up the chunks of salmon as you go. There should be enough salt from the salmon, but add more if it needs it. Add the chopped green onions/chives and mix in. Allow it to rest for at least an hour and serve. EnJoY!!!!

  16. Are the Churches really Christ-like? Honest observer By Roy Flintoff, An Honest Observer - Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012. Article Hits: 282 17 Comments Dear Editor Why do I ask that question? You might wonder. For many years now I have been looking at religions with a constructively critical eye. While I commend them for making God’s word available to many and teaching some good moral principles, I do think that the churches are not generally living up to and upholding the standard of God to a satisfactory degree. 1) The churches are “running down” the Jehovah’s Witnesses too much. Now if the pastors and their church members feel that the Jehovah’s Witnesses are wrong, why don’t they speak to the Jehovah’s Witnesses to correct them when they visit their homes? Why do the pastors tell their members not to listen to the Jehovah’s Witnesses when they come to their doors? If the pastors are truly “Christians,” why don’t they show love to the Jehovah’s Witnesses and help them, and urge their members to do likewise, rather than encourage their members to shut their doors on Jehovah’s Witnesses? I know of a case where hot water was thrown on a Jehovah’s Witness by someone who claimed to be a Christian. In another case, urine was thrown at a Jehovah’s Witness, again by a member of a church claiming to be a Christian. These actions could never be right. Yes, Christ said that Christians are to expect persecution, which Jehovah’s Witnesses meet frequently (Matthew 24:9; John 15:20). But when those who claim to be Christians are the ones doing the persecuting, then I shake my head and ask: Are they really Christians? Are they truly Christ-like? Christ said to love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44). So why not love the Jehovah’s Witnesses too? Jehovah’s Witnesses speak to all who are willing to converse, even if they disagree on doctrines in the end. From my observation, I think that the churches must be willing to use the bible to a much greater extent to prove their beliefs and practices. Their members seem afraid to defend their beliefs, hence, they feel it is the best course to avoid Jehovah’s Witnesses. I personally think that the Jehovah’s Witnesses do a fine job in the way they use the bible to prove their beliefs and practices. Give credit where it is rightfully due. Of course, anyone is free to believe what he or she wishes, freedom of thought. 2) The churches are tolerating wrongs such as: Pastors committing adultery and preaching sermons still; pastors and church members fornicating and they are still highly admired by many in the church, even taking communion in their sinful state. They are only fooling themselves. Are they really Christ-like? 3) Politics is dividing church members. Even when elections are over, church members have been keeping malice with each other due to having different political affiliations. Are they seriously Christ-like? The above-mentioned are honest, truthful observations I have made over the years, and I think that any fair-minded person would do well to consider the facts as he or she truly sees them. Let the truth be told and make us free. John 8:32.
  17. This is interesting...I can't imagine what they might be sharing...Proof of Hellfire? lol... But I really loved what that brother said to get that catholic guy compelled enough to attempt door to door ministry.....Recently one of our elders shared an experience he had one Sunday morning in field service, since our meeting is now in the afternoon he was doing territory in a neighborhood which has a Catholic church/school..as they were walking past, there was a priest outside so he struck up a conversation with him, they talked for quite some time and the priest admitted to them that..& I quote " if I had to go door to door as a Catholic, I'd leave the church!! I imagine that's what many of them might say...
  18. Corona is my favorite beer as well....but I LOVEit with a lime wedge squeezed in an ice cold bottle! On a hot day...perfect! Out on the beach....Priceless!!!! I surprisingly also like the Bud lite Lime, I hate Budwiser beer...But when the lime is a good price & Corona's not on sale...that's my pick! I don't drink beer regularly, usually a couple on the beach or while watching a game, I like to keep a couple in the fridge to crack open after I'v been working around the house or yard in the hot afternoon, there's nothing like swigin that baby down!! I'm mostly a wine drinker but I like cocktails of all sorts on occasion... I've learned to find my balance & moderation and NEVER mix!! Although I can do a beer chaser after a shot of Patron! Not something I do often but it's fun with a buddy, we had a couple during the SuperBowl!!!
  19. Oh BOY!! I am SOLD as well!!!! I adore chocolate & blackberries as well as steak, so I will try it with the suggested pairing.. Thanks for the description, it worked!! ><
  20. Wow! Another beautiful play on words... That is touching....
  21. Ahh yes! You should really go to Spaghetti Factory & try the Chicken Marsala! & the Creamy pesto dressing on the salad that comes with your meal, so yummy! I have made the spaghetti squash at home, several ways, with sauce and also just with butter, sea salt & pepper with a little parmesan...it's so great & healthy! I have the same question as Leslie about your Red Velvet wine from Cupcake...lol, how's the flavor?? Sounds exquisite to me!
