I've just been informed by Social Security that I am no longer considered disabled according to their rules and will lose all support in a couple of months. I've never worked in my life, never able to maintain a strict schedule or cope long term with the chronic pain, irritable bowel and insomnia. It always inevitably leads back into chronic depression and mania. I can do a little, but then I have to follow up with resting for a day.

They don't have a majority of my physical issues on file from doctor's reports which is a problem, as I was considered disabled for mental issues... but they were caused by the physical issues in the first place, just haven't been able to find a doctor who understands or properly tests for them yet.

Of course, one should expect to read such a letter on one's anniversary of baptism, amirite? (Luke 22:31) “Simon, Simon, look! Satan has demanded to have all of you to sift you as wheat.

I just wanted to say that I love this forum and am thankful for the time I've been able to spend with everyone I've met here. ❤️Before I inevitably regress into insanity and say and do things which I will surely regret.

Have you tried singing the Convention song aloud and envisioning
Jehovah's legions of angels, ready to go into battle behind Michael?

I like to squint and envision this sight with my eyes of faith.

The lyrics make me cry...but they also give me great comfort in these scary times:

    "Give Me Courage"

    Doubt and fear surround me
    The way ahead not clear.
    Through uncertainty you guide me.
    I know you're always near.
    Life may not be easy,
But this I know is true:
You're the God who's ever loyal.
My life is safe with you.

Jehovah, give me eyes of faith
    And help me always see
There are more with us than against us.
    Courageous let me be...
    Courage, give me courage
    With courage I'll endure.
    Jehovah, give me courage.
    Your victory is sure.

    Feeling fear is human.
In my own strength I'm frail.
You have been my Rock and Refuge.
    Your power never fails.
    Help me be courageous
And let my heart be brave.
Lasting harm can never hold me,
    No prison gate or grave.

Jehovah, give me eyes of faith
    And help me always see
There are more with us than against us.
    Courageous let me be...
    Courage, give me courage
    With courage I'll endure.
    Jehovah, give me courage.
    Your victory is sure.

If you pray and we pray, our Loyal God will save the day! ❤️
Cyber hugs will have to do...until we meet in person, sometime in
the WONDERFUL New, non-scary World. ((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))

I ended up in the ER after the meeting today.  An elderly sister needed some shampoo and asked me to take her to the store.  I passed out twice in the store, twice in the ambulance and three or four more times in the ER.
Every time someone attempted to sit me up, I passed out.  So I finally asked them to please just let me lie flat on my back.  I didn't have a stroke or a heart attack, or a seizure. It wasn't my blood sugar.
The ER doc thought I was just dehydrated.  But I don't think I was. My legs quit working just before I passed out the first time.  And I was completely paralyzed when I woke up in the ambulance.  Strange.

They couldn't find out why I couldn't remain conscious in a vertical position, so after observing me for four hours and giving me a few bags of IV fluids, they finally said I could leave if I could sit up without passing out.  I could.  So I called Sister Linda/Loopy and asked if she could give me a ride back to my car.
She kindly rescued me and I made it home okay.
    All in all...
A really strange way to spend a Sunday.

A 36 year old ELDER, with a seriously rock solid theo family background, beautiful wife, happy marriage, new home, trips around the world, very active in every way,... just took his own life and no one understands why.  There were no red flags, no known depression, no clues.  We are related.  I'm used to feeling sorry for myself, having a sub-standard life with non-believers BUT, in terms of pain, what pain could ever compare to this scenario??  A brother commented tonight "We may see more of this..." A reference to the times we live in.  It is terrifying to watch  a "stable" one fall.  May Jehovah help us all.  PLEASE, pray for our elders, we need them, each and every one of them.

A few days ago, I received a letter from the City Hall informing me that my name had been selected by lot and that I was on a list of potential jurors for the circuit court (criminal court) for the year 2018.
Although my conscience does not forbid me to be a juror, I would like to doublecheck the view of the organization on the subject.
I am sure there have been articles on the subject in our publications but I could find anything. Any clue ?
Could you please enlighten me? Thanks !!
