Brother, as I read what you post, I always smile. I know I will enjoy and learn from it, and, how I’d love to be in your car group out in the service. There are certain ones I especially enjoy. I just need to be quiet and listen!

668 at the Memorial, phew, that was a close one     

Well, it looks like my sleep patterns are right for me to get to the Memorial tonight! (As always).
 
A literal miracle, I prayed that I'd be able to get there, and last week my sleep pattern had a sudden shift as I woke "randomly" during the day (which was unusual as I have random sleep patterns, but never have "broken sleep"), and then I used that chance to stay up and fix my sleep just right over the week, and it's turned out just right for today.

I think I solved the slow site performance issue...
 
 

No Mid-week Meeting for us tonight. 
 
Is the reason we don't have our Mid-week the week of our assemblies and conventions because we are drawing special attention to these weeks, or what?
 
I could never understand why, in the old, old, old days, we used to have our Tuesday night Book Study on Thursday night and our Thursday night Ministry School on Tuesday night, on the weeks our C.O. was scheduled to visit, either.
 
At one time, I may have been told why.  But then I got old and forgot. 
 
I used to haul all my books to both meetings, just in case.  LOLOL

Just got baptized in our convention today! I want to share a small comforting insight I had on the way back home (and what my mom talked about with me before the convention)- baptism really just symbolizes your dedication to doing Jehovah's will. You don't have to be the perfect model Witness from day one- you just have to keep improving from that point on, the same way you were improving before baptism. I'm kinda scared of big changes in life, so I guess this idea really comforts me.

Melbourne International Convention update: we are now looking forward to welcoming 6,300 delegates including approximately 700 of which who are serving as special full-time service.Number slightly increased.

Really struggling with my job (retail with a supposedly respected chain) despite it is only my third week in! An extremely physical job assisting the cashier, pulling carts all over the busy parking lot. Not only that, but also having to deal with supervisors who micromanage you and have no people skills. Need prayers that I get another job I was offered (background check pending)...even if it means minimum wage and no benefits. Was about to break down today while at work 😔😰

So, slipped and fell in aux month?? 

Yesterday, a sister came up to me after service and handed me a jacket and said she knew I wore this type of jacket but she wasn’t sure if it would be too big. Than she gave me a bag which she said had skirt(s). 
 
I tried on the jacket and it fit perfectly. We chatted than I got in my truck. Than I bailed out so fast because it just hit me what she had said. I replied….did you say you thought it would be too big?!!
 
She said yes.
 
Than you’ve noticed?? (Was curious why she said that. Never mentioned anything to me before.) Other than Ross saying anything no one else has. 
 
It’s been a crazy end of the week so I haven’t tried the skirt(s) on yet..haven’t even checked out the bag actually, which I’m ashamed.
Haven’t checked the scale since first of March but if I’m losing inches I’m very, very happy.
 
But to have someone mention that they noticed I’m losing weight just gave me the encouragement I needed. 
 
Played a Dr. Berg video this morning and he showed a video on how to losen/tighten that still flabby “pooch” (stomach) as he calls it (with a type of exercise). And not with sit-ups either. Totally different. But right now my back is too sore to tighten my butt muscles and lean backwards. LOL
 
 Than he said to lower carbs to 10g. So I adjusted my Carb Manager app.
 
Today, I figured out what I’ve eaten and what I will eat later for dinner  and I hit the 10 carbs perfectly. Huh! See if I can do that every day. Hmmm!

I had to put my husband in Hospice care 😪

It's so nice to see so many new ones commenting on the Forum lately..

Tomorrow will be my 58th year of marriage. Wow who knew the system would go on this long.

Looking forward to the weekend. About sixteen  of our congregation will travel up to Stratford on
Friday. On Saturday we join their congregation in field service to help with seldom worked territory.
Saturday night is a meal with them at a restaurant and Sunday we attend their meeting before coming home.

Saturday I was heading out to field service and found my moped had been stolen overnight. I was determined to still go as I had made arrangements for a return visit/study.
 Met someone on the doors 3 weeks ago had a long spiritual discussion with them and offered a study. Last week again had a good discussion and started the Bible teach book.
Was able to forget about things and focus on spiritual matters.

I'm trying to help a dear sister friend of mine win an adaptive bike for her disabled son.  I'm so excited and hopes she wins!

Well, in spite of the inclement weather and treacherous road conditions, we had our LDC meeting tonight.
 
I cannot believe our remodel project is scheduled to take TWELVE WEEKS!!!
 
The changes are apparently going to be a lot more extensive than were originally slated a few years ago.  
 
Our remodel project got put on a back-burner because of all the natural disasters and the need for brothers and sisters who didn't have any hall at all.
 
Exciting times ahead for our Munising, Michigan congregation. 

Next April, visit of the GB in Japan... maybe new Bible !!!
