  1. And always remember to get your daily dose of "greens". Some of my favorites: spinach, Swiss chard, arugula! What are yours?
  2. I'm praying for our brothers and sisters in the Democratic Republic of Congo since I recently read about the volcanic eruption there near Goma. Some of the photos break my heart. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/5/22/dr-congos-nyiragongo-volcano-erupts-triggering-panic May Jehovah comfort those who may have been affected.
  3. On my way back from running an errand I saw one of these things on my porch. It was a "battle of the stares" as we were eye-to-eye! 👀👀 I think the cicada won....😳
  4. Then may I suggest you take what I posted with a grain of salt. Lime. And tequila.
  5. Whether these video images are genuine or not, it makes a powerful statement that many in the populace are turning away from idol worship. VID-20210513-WA0002.mp4
  6. https://www.jw.org/en/library/series/how-your-donations-are-used/A-JW-Satellite-Channel-Reaches-Where-Internet-Does-Not/ A JW Satellite Channel Reaches Where Internet Does Not Thank you Jehovah!
  7. We'll see how this case is eventually resolved. May Jehovah's name continue to be praised!
  8. Dinner tonight: chicken tikka masala with garlic naan!
  9. Why does this pop up when I attempt to enter a thread? This only recently started to happen?
  10. Nice! I'm also looking at the cooking apparatus...is that a Dutch oven? What brand, if I may ask?
  11. Well, the food "photo shoot" has run its' course.
  12. A friend sent this to me recently, so please...eat your lemons! 🍋🍋 Therapeutic Compounds * Alpha Pinenes * Beta Pinenes * D-Limonene KEY BENEFITS * Helps purify the body * Freshens breath * Aids in cough suppression * Supports fat digestion * Fights cancer * Stimulates lymphatic drainage * Promotes weight loss AMAZING FROZEN LEMONS Place the washed lemon in the freezer. Once frozen, get your grater, and shred the whole lemon (no need to peel it) and sprinkle it on your foods! On vegetables, salads, ice cream, soup, cereals, noodles, spaghetti sauce, rice, sushi, fish dishes, ... the list is endless. All the foods will get an unexpected wonderful taste! Most likely, you only think of lemon juice as vitamin C?--Not anymore! What's the major advantage of using the whole lemon other than preventing waste and adding new taste to your dishes? Lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more vitamins than the lemon juice itself and that's what you've been wasting! Lemon peels are health rejuvenators in eradicating toxic elements in the body. The surprising benefits of lemon is the miraculous ability to kill cancer cells! It is 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy! Why do we not know about that? Because there are laboratories interested in making a synthetic version that will bring them huge profits. You can now help a friend in need by letting him/her know that lemon juice is beneficial in helping to prevent disease. Its' taste is pleasant and it does not produce the horrific effects of chemotherapy. This plant is a proven remedy against cancers of all types. It is considered also as an anti-microbial spectrum against bacterial infections and fungi, effective against internal parasites and worms, it regulates blood pressure and is an antidepressant, combats stress and nervous disorders. The source of this information is fascinating: it comes from one of the largest drug manufacturers in the world. After more than 20 laboratory tests since 1970, the extracts revealed that It destroys the malignant cells in 12 cancers, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas. The compounds of this tree showed 10,000 times better effect than the product Adriamycin, a drug normally used chemotherapeutic in the world, slowing the growth of cancer cells. And what is even more astonishing: this type of therapy with lemon extract only destroys malignant cancer cells and it does not affect healthy cells. So, give those lemons a good wash, freeze them and grate them. Your whole body will love you for it! 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋
  13. Dinner tonight: turkey cutlets, leftover spinach pie, roasted potatoes and carrots.
  14. Who is the 10th woman of faith?
  15. The video made me think of the lyrics to one of our original songs: Their smiles were so infectious, knowing Jehovah has gotten them through their trial. Praise Jah!
  16. What a great idea! I'll be busy until the memorial with watching the morning worship program, cooking the family meal, preparing the bread emblem, and spot cleaning the living room that's temporarily the "Kingdom Hall". Singing our kingdom melodies and original songs always puts me in a good mood before this annual event; it helps me to reflect on all that Jehovah and His precious son had done for me.
  17. Neil, so good to "see" you brother! Your concerns are indeed valid, so I wanted to share a bit of research I found about vaccines overall. The U.S. CDC confirms that vaccines contain cells cultured from aborted human fetus [Read: WI-38, MRC-5, RA 27/3]. The chart at their link will give you further insight. I'm not tech savvy to upload it here, so just put in the search engine the phrase "[PDF] CDC Vaccine Excipient Summary" or www.cdc.gov excipient-table-2. (I was able to download it also.) Additionally, Dr. Stanley Plotkin, called the godfather of modern vaccines and is the world's leading authority on vaccines, as well as paid consultant to the vaccine industry, reveals in detail how they are designed, manufactured and tested, so you may want to do a bit of research on him, if you have time.
  18. Your concerns, as well as concerns of many others I know regarding this experimental vaccine, are indeed valid. Please, be informed.
  19. This reminds me of the Walls case in Calgary back in 2017 that involved the Supreme Court of Canada. As in that development, I pray that sound reasoning prevails in this one also.
