I fell asleep during the meeting today. Not nodded off. Went to sleep! A good half an hour. 
The WT Conductor came and checked on me. He said, “Good. I was worried about you being depressed”. 
Several came and made sure I was okay. No comments from Bea today. 
I was sitting next to a good friend. She said she got sleepy, and realized I was asleep, and had to stay awake to make sure I didn’t fall over. 
Know how you feel refreshed after a nap? I was that asleep! 
I’m thinking about old people. Yes, old people, and how I viewed them when I was younger. 
Curious. Here I am. Next. b’day, I will be 80. My memory is touch and go. I’ve lost some of my strength, but, I still can work hard in the garden, and outside. I don’t pick my feet up as I should. (We have stairs. They remind me once in a while.) 
And, wisdom? Got to think on that one?
(No, I did not snore. For which I’m thankful. I think my good friend would not have allowed that!

Just went over mid week assignment with assistant. I'm always relieved after first run through with no probs.

I cannot believe how some people can show so little regard for their neighbors.   
 
My insurance company sent me a Covid packet last summer
with a big blue sign that says "This House Practices Social Distancing".
The sign is prominently displayed on the window of our front porch entrance.
 
Well, one of our hay customers just ignored that sign and walked right into our kitchen--UNinvited
and UNmasked.  
 
(She, and many of her church members, got Covid last Winter, by not practicing social distancing,
and by continuing to attend their church services, in spite of warnings.)
 
She displayed no respect for our home, or any concern for our lives.  
 
In other words, she showed no 'love for her neighbor'.

Hmmm. Not really thinking about coming out of retirement, but I did just send in some info to "Best LIfe Ever Academy." I wouldn't mind considering a few hours a week of Algebra and Geometry. 

Sitting in bed with a Hot Milk Milo made lovingly by my husband. Life is good tonight. 

Don't tell Jehovah how big the problem is ... tell the problem how big Jehovah is!

So glad I don't like  turkey and that I have been able to have a quiet day getting ready for tonight's meeting. 
 

Had a fun afternoon in service today. We don't usually do thurs aft, but this week end is assembly. Was in the car group for a bit with a six year old home-schooler, his 27 y/o sister,and his mother. The other two were on a call, so, as usual,the 6 year old and I were embedded in deep conversations. At some point he said, "My head is exploding." I told him a trick I knew to take in information without feeling like my head was exploding. He also had an index card of thing to research.  One of the questions I posed: "is a buttload a real thing?"I also asked him if we were really related, would his sister
be my sister, daughter, grandaughter or niece. He said, "you love her so much, she would be your real niece."The other two came back to the car, and his mother asked what he was doing. "Taking in information." Then he showed her his index card of things to research. He was laughing at the questions. Next time I'll ask him abut a fartlek. We might even do some.

Don't Give Up In Fulfilling The Law Of Christ! Assembly, was great in helping to make sure I'm/we are fulfilling the laws of Christ. I'm looking forward to listening to it as well pondering it's instructions to make sure I'm doing my best to fulfill Christ laws.
 
I  appreciated the way Galatians 6:2 was explained and how important it is to apply in our lives.
 
Gal. 6:2~"Go on carrying the burdens of one another, and in this way you will fulfill the law of the Christ".
 
Thanks to Jehovah we are educated to obtain the best life ever!

Loving Life

My oldest son, Keith, attended yesterday's meeting. Both he and his housemate are studying with a brother that studied with my husb years ago. I live in a different state, but pioneered in that cong, also some time ago. Son's housemate has been going to Sunday meeting every week.  I did not ask my son what his fiancé thinks about his studying.  They don't live together, and I am not sure if she is interested in marriage.  Keith is.
