  1. When we talk with someone who believes strongly in evolution, we might feel sometimes overwhelmed at what to say or we may wonder, "What possible example can I share with such a person that is simple yet powerful to prove creation/design?" Well here is 1 possible example. The next time we talk with someone who wants to discuss evolution, we can simply ask them to compare evolution vs. the incredible "reproduction" of life. Here is a simple but powerful reasoning that came from an article on an "Intelligent Design" website. https://evolutionnews.org/2018/11/why-evolution-and-reproduction-are-unnatural/
  2. Have you had a discussion at any time with someone who says that we may be living in a computer simulation designed by aliens, or by our future, much more intelligent descendants? Neil DeGrasse Tyson is one who has claimed this and considers it more than a 50-50 chance! I have pondered this and wondered how best to counter the claim, with little success I might add. But today I read this short article on Evolution News which gives the most simple explanation of why that claim cannot be true. Read it for yourself here: https://evolutionnews.org/2017/07/of-course-you-arent-living-in-a-computer-simulation-heres-why/
  3. "Stone ‘tools’ may not have been made by human ancestors, research finds" https://cosmosmagazine.com/palaeontology/stone-tools-may-not-have-been-made-by-human-ancestors-research-finds Monkey business forces a rethink on human evolution, reports paleoanthropologist Darren Curnoe. When did a human-like mind first emerge, setting its owner on a path distinct to that of other apes? We paleoanthropologists have long looked to tool use as the marker – particularly the appearance of a cutting tool known as a flake. It now seems we were wrong. Recent research published in Nature by a team led by Tomos Proffitt at the University of Oxford shows that capuchin monkeys regularly produce sharp-edged flakes indistinguishable from those made by early hominins. As it turns out, no. The flakes are produced by accident when the monkeys smash rocks together. Nonetheless, the capuchins have thrown a spanner in the works for archaeologists. Since the flakes they make are not tools at all, we can no longer assume the flakes found in the archaeological record are tools either. So what these clever monkeys show us is that, if we find ancient flakes, we can no longer assume they were a tool made by a human ancestor. The discovery of flakes at the Lomekwi archeological site in Kenya, which dates to 3.3 million years ago, led researchers to propose in 2015 that early humans appeared about 700,000 years earlier than previously thought. Now, however, without other evidence, such as cut marks on bones, we can no longer assume the flakes are evidence of a human presence.
  4. Ancient fossils in African cave are tantalizing glimpse of early man One of the richest collections of early-human fossils ever found has been hauled out of an African cave, thanks to the efforts of a handpicked team of scientists slender enough to fit through ancient narrow passageways, researchers announced today. http://www.wkyc.com/story/news/2015/09/10/fossils-humans-cave-ancient-bones/71966570/
  5. Thought some of you might find this article interesting: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/07/19/creationists-take-down-another-top-professor.html
  6. Wanted to share this article with you all - definitely another attempt by false religion to appease the left, right, up, and down communities. Thoughts? https://metro.co.uk/2014/10/28/pope-francis-evolution-and-big-bang-are-real-and-god-isnt-a-magician-with-a-magic-wand-4925051/
  7. Hi All. I have just read this article published yesterday in the scientific magazine New Scientist: http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg22229643.200-human-missing-link-fossils-may-be-jumble-of-species.html#.U0aBDqLTJuY So this fossil that was acclaimed as the missing link between men and apes seems to be actually four different skeletons (two men and two monkeys) mixed up. Of course its finder disagrees, otherwise he will lose the renown of having discovered it. How many other fossils exhibited as proofs of evolution may be just mixed up bones of different kinds! Interesting that this discovery comes some months after five skulls found in Georgia made the evolutionary genealogical tree of man crumble down. Those skulls showed that fossils thought to be separate species (Homo erectus, Homo habilis, Homo rudolfensis, all the early Homo species) were just different varieties of the same human species. We even had a thread about that. So far I have seen no science books or even Wikipedia reflect this new understanding. Not that it comes as a surprise. And yesterday I read another article from 2011 in Nature confirming that Archaeopteryx, the world-famous intermediate form between reptiles and birds, was not a bird at all, just a small dinosaur with feathers. Sorry, Darwin, you were wrong once again. And we are called fanatics for not believing in evolution!
