Friday while watching the sunset I got a glimpse of the "green flash". I have viewed it several times. A glimpse is all I ever see as the duration is very brief. My Wife, standing beside, me has never managed to get a glimpse of it. It is very hard to photograph and it wasn’t until 1960 a color photo was successfully achieved. Prior to that time many scoffed at it’s existence, a claim that you had seen the “Green Flash” would change the conversation to unicorns and the like. It occurred to me that I was privileged to view a wonder of Jehovah’s Creation that very few humans ever see.

Have any of my  forum friends witnessed this phenomena?

I didn't have exactly that experience. I was teaching night classes and my three little boys would line up for goodbye kisses. The trick was that they would get back in line and get another kiss. The youngest was just barely toddling, so i kissed him and picked him up on my shoulder for a good night pat.  Later, standing in front of class, I turned around and was informed that I  had a nice embellishment of vomit  down the back of my left shoulder.  You'da think I would'a learned my lesson, but this happened more than once.    Y (slow learner) S

{Raising hand}..I have! I have!  Back in late 2014, I was driving down a major road and saw this phenomena in my rear-view mirror. (I did a double-take when I first saw it; then stuck my head out of the window for a second or two to make sure I actually saw what I was seeing.)  I thought it was the oddest thing and that maybe I was just imagining it, so I dismissed it from my mind--until now.  (I'll never take it for granted again.)

Since you didn't referrence the souce of your comment (aways a good idea) I tried to figure out why you didn't know that being chased by a bear is okay on the internet.

What I was referring to was not the bear but the puzzle picture id 7631? by Cheryl.

I attended a wedding a couple of weeks ago (a 76-year old groom who looks "55ish" and his 60-year old 1st time bride.) She had given up on ever finding a mate and was content to serving Jehovah. So happy for them both! The wedding coordinator gave me the podium floral arragement. The fragrance was out-of-this-world. Isn't it beautiful?!
