Isn't this a cool bridge? 

It is the oldest 'New Bridge' I've ever seen.

Stuck i n traffic for an hour and a half when this vehicle went by us on a tow truck. It was a rental car, needs a little cleaning before it can go out again.

I heard about that this morning Jerry. Having played with eels as a kid I couldn't fathom the ick factor having 4 or 5 bins of them crack open and slime me!! What a mess. Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt.

 Hot weather plus thousands of dead eels in the ditches and brush. Just saw a dozen buzzards heading north, they must have gotten wind of the event.

Eels are a delicacy of the East End of London too, but you can buy jars of 'jellied eels' in supermarkets.

There are pie shops in the East End which serve pies, mash and 'liquor' -a savoury parsley sauce- and eels.
