Any "holics"

Recommended Posts

I'll start.

I'm definitely a chocoholic and a chessaholic.

In the new world I want my own carob plant (where chocolate comes from) to make all the chocolate I want...yummy!

Next, my own cow where I can milk her, then make all the cheese I want.

Do you eat the cheese and chocolate while playing chess?

My name is Christopher and I am a holic. I could be a baseballholic if I tried, or a musicaholic.

Just to clear this up a bit .....

Theobroma cacao also cacao tree and cocoa tree, is a small (4–8 m (13–26 ft) tall) evergreen tree in the family Malvaceae, native to the deep tropical regions of Central and South America. Its seeds, cocoa beans, are used to make cocoa mass, cocoa powder, and chocolate

Ceratonia siliqua, commonly known as the carob tree, St John's-bread, or locust bean is a species of flowering evergreen shrub or tree in the pea family, Fabaceae. It is widely cultivated for its edible pods, and as an ornamental tree in gardens. The ripe, dried pod is often ground to carob powder which is used as a substitute for cocoa powder.

I, too, am a bit of a "chocoholic" - but I can tell the difference in actual cocoa and carob .... carob is definitely NOT chocolate.

Bro. John, thank you for clearing that up about the carob Hmmm, I must look more into it. Anyway, there's a natural food store here that sales chocolate covered raisins and carob covered raisins. I always choose the carob covered raisins. Yummy.

Let's consider a few things:

*** it-2 p. 14 Jehovah ***
Jehovah [finds] pleasure in his creatures. Since man was made “in God’s image” (Ge 1:27), it follows that the joy a human father finds in his child, particularly one who shows filial love and acts with wisdom, reflects the joy that Jehovah finds in his intelligent creatures who love and wisely serve Him. (Pr 27:11; Mt 3:17; 12:18) ...
Jehovah also finds pleasure in the exercise of his powers, whether in creation or otherwise, his works always having a real purpose and a good motive.

(John 5:17) . . .“My Father has kept working until now, and I keep working.”

(Genesis 11:6) . . .Jehovah then said: “Look! They are one people with one language, and this is what they have started to do. Now there is nothing that they may have in mind to do that will be impossible for them.

Now, since Jehovah is one who finds pleasure in work and creation, and He endowed us with these same qualities and He admits that man can accomplish things some would think impossible, would it not follow that in the New System we would go forward ..... this would seem, to me, to include the area of technology.

I would think we will have things far superior to phones, computers, cars and many of the other things we now think of as advanced technology. We will go forward, not backward

Just my thoughts .....
