Anyone have their new bibles redone with new covers yet?

Recommended Posts

I'm reluctant to change mine as the new silver is almost a badge of recognition now, but I've always had mine redone in a dark color. I don't just like dark colors but I also put some hard wear on mine and it gets dingy/dirty in a light color.

If you have had it done, who did you use? My inlaws had my last two bibles done for me as a surprise for our anniversary gifts over the years.

We found a site that sells JW gift stuff we bought for convention but they don't do book binding.

Why would you want to redo that great cover the society gave us with this bible?!!!  Granted "gray" may not be everyone favorite - but if you find the thread in there that describes all the hard work and difficulties the Branch (and Japan) went through to get these bibles to us on time for the annual meeting in October - you'd think twice about changing anything!

I purchased a bible cover from Ministry Ideaz. It's really nice. My gilding was spotty from rain in FS. :-(

Inbrother Herd's talk at London IC he referred to it as 'platinum'. I thought that nicely described the beauty and the precious nature of our Bible.

im having trouble with the large print bible... i would like to use it for meetings... my eyes arent great but its too floppy... if u have the bible in one hand and the watchtower in the other it just flops and closes because the cover is too soft and floppy. i wonder if there is a cover which has a way of making the whole thing more like our ref. bible?

I prefer to keep my conversations non confrontational please.

Im simply wanting to preserve it from looking bad. Like i said, I wear mine out bad with dirt and oils. (hard working blue collar guy that handles nasty stuff on my hands everyday)

Sorry you thought I was being confrontational.  It was more of a playful sarcasism.  Most in here are used to my humor.  Sorry to of caused you distress.
