GT games and more ideas for BRIDES

Recommended Posts

Three Sisters are getting married in December from our congregation. We are organising.a farewell party for them. Any games we can play? Groom will be present.Rgds Maureen

You could get a box with items for marriage in it, then have the brides go and stick their hands in and try to guess what the items are.

Things like the bible, or a cookbook, or a hanky for tears of joy etc. Then once all three have guessed and written it down they get a small gift....like a bracelet or a tie etc...

Then you could have a kingdom word scramble...all related to marriage.

Mix up the letters of words used in marriage and any other words you can think of..

One game we played at a Stag and Doe was after the Bride and Groom left the room everyone pretended to be the person on their left or right. Then after everyone got some basic info they let the bride and groom back in the room.

Another one is After they left you tell everyone they had to pretend like they were in Kindergarten or Grade 1. Then the couple come back in and guess what everyone is. Tell them to act up or just laugh like a kid some would play shy or be chatter boxes but don't say anything about their age unless they were asked directly. It was a lot of fun.
