Bizarre Foods!

Andrew Zimmern while visiting Iceland's glaciers, hot springs and volcanoes, had the opportunity to visit a small local dairy specializing in home made cheeses. While trying at first unsuccessfully to get some milk out of the teet the cow turned around and gave him "the look", finally he starts to get some milk in the bucket and comments that he likes the sound of fresh milk going into the bucket, just as the camera pans the cow is actually urinating...

Did my time manually milking cows, look out for the tail. If she gets irritated she can really swoosh it!!

OK .... I'll ask, what does milking a cow have to do with "Bizarre Foods"?

 

I know Andrew Zimmern has a show with that title, but when I saw a thread titled "Bizarre Foods", I thought it would actually be about bizarre foods ... not the host of a TV show doing something I learned to do when I was 8.

He talks to the indigenous people, gets to know about their way of life, understand their culture a little bit more and eats the local foods. Some isn't so bizarre but some is. Perhaps the title of the show should be changed to "Occasionally Bizarre Foods", some of it makes me cringe some of it looks great!
