We've had a few conversations about this sort of thing.

 

Many have carried on in private for years, but now because we live in a permissive society, those of that sort are coming out of the wood work left right and centre.  

 

The entire world is a sodom and gomorrah of epic proportions.  Where we come in, is we need to keep crying out and petitioning Jehovah to step in.

Well, it only makes sense.  I'm actually shocked by the facebook responders who think this is wrong or icky or whatever  I mean, the same line of reasoning used for homosexuality can be used for incest.  "What two consenting adults do behind closed doors is nobody's business but theirs.  Love is love.  You can't help who you fall in love with, etc.."  

 

It's all disgusting and immoral in Jehovah's eyes.  I'm shocked that the masses of people against this can't see the hypocrisy of their logic.

Slightly off topic but Something I have noticed more and more over the last 12 months is the increasing frequency of two men kissing each other on the lips on UK tv, trouble is they they put it in the adverts so you see it before getting a chance to avert your eyes or switch off. Personally I find it sickening but I suppose I should not be surprised as many of the ones producing the programmes are homosexuals and they like to promote it.

These things are appearing in the Newspaper to slowly make people accustomed to a shocking idea.  First it will be "estranged" fathers and daughters, then divorcees and then grown children with their siblings or parents...  nothing will surprise me about this world.  Corrupt to the core.

 

If the young woman in question was 16 when she had sex with her father, it is also  proposing the idea that chidren of 15/16 are old enough to have sex.  I'm sure the age of concent will be lowered to 14 before this system ends;  So children will be viewed as old enough to decide about what they do with their bodies (unless of course they want to refuse a blood transfusion that is...).

Ya Brigette, I'm the same. I only hear a little of the news but it seems I get the very worst stories. Or maybe it's all the very worst. I don't know. It's just awful. Why do they even bother with those stories, I'm sure there's enough other stuff to report, but then it wouldn't get the shock value they're looking for would it?

I am SOOO with you , Bridgette.  My kids have been constantly saying, "I HATE people!" for a while now. I used to think it was just their teenage brains being their usual teenage-ness. But more and more, I find myself saying the exact same thing.  The behaviors we are seeing surely warrant whats coming.

 

Don't even get me started on how they drive!!!  ARRGGHHH!  This is the only time I swear!!  (oops!)

I remember 20 years ago trying to imagine how it could get worse. Well, I have to say, I never thought I'd see such a breakdown in humanity. In every respect. Functioning in the world- work, paying bills, buying things, recreation- are all convoluted. It feels like I have to slogg through the muck of inefficiency and incompetence just to make sense to those I do business with. And trying to get people to understand clear common sense is wretchedly hard. I have 2 outstanding monthly invoices and 2 extra work invoices that I haven't been paid for yet. So the last time I got paid from this HUGE banking institution was October. I was promised last week that the checks would be in my bank yesterday, nope. So I called back, from Portland, Oregon to  Seattle, WA and then to Minnesota where the billing is actually processed. No one knows anything. Well someone should, I've worked there for 25 years! It just takes so much time and involves too many people. I finally got a call from Avitha in Payables who said she'd try to have money for me by Monday!  , Ya ok. 

 

And this is why I get so tired. I feel like I'm always fighting, for everything. And fighting things off that want to intrude into my carefully preserved peaceful home.

 

Ok, done now, didn't mean to ramble on.

It's okay Sis Talking helps a person put their thoughts in order  Things are changing rapidly...I remember when I was younger how the brothers said we are living in a time of plenty that's gonna be followed by a time of famine (spiritually and materially speaking)....I can see things about to get much worse! Prices are rising on foods, bills are skyrocketing, people are getting more & more impatient and more easily irritated each day....It's almost scary to see what some people will do over the smallest disagreements such as  I've seen some people here their kids literally being abusive in their speech in the middle of the store just because they don't get what they want throwing a tantrum or hitting their parents/grandparents.... Elderly ones running over you with a cart literally (personal experience guess I don't move fast enough lol)...It gets crazy sometimes around this small town....

Ever since the "same sex" marriage idea began to be discussed I have always warned that it would lead to sibling marriage.

What reason are they going to give for denying the marriage of two same sex siblings? They can't use the moral argument, and they can't use the genetic argument (since they would be incapable of producing children between them).

Then, what reason are they going to give for denying the marriage of two opposite sex siblings who choose not to have children? Or who can't due to medical issues?

After all, a person doesn't "choose" to be sexually attracted to their opposite sex sibling any more than a man "chooses" to be attracted to another man.

Parent/child relationships might not be accepted due to the potential for the parent to unduly influence the child, but that could be negated in the case of estrangement. And I can't see any great change to the age of consent, though that does vary from country to country.

Either way, this is Satan's system and will continue to decline until Jehovah brings it to an end.

I have wondered about incest becoming acceptable over time, it's possible but I can't see it happening in near future.  Pedophilia on the other hand I don't see becoming acceptable, the world today is more opposed to it than in the past.  Child molesters are hated more than any other criminal.

Oh Shali! You mustn't let that hatred show. It will diminish your service time quality! Hate the things they might be doing or thinking of doing, but don't hurt those who haven't had their mental powers educated in God's thoughts.

It isn't them, it is satan doing his dirty work. Pray for the day God has chosen to set matters right. In the meantime, pray that Jehovah give you strength to overcome that hatred.

This is the "permissive" society we live in where "casual sex" between teenagers is rarely prosecuted - even if one teen is over 16 and the other under.
