very good article on loneliness...  did not know this:

"low social interaction is a predictor of early death and that as a risk factor,

it is “twice as harmful as obesity” and “equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes a day.”

i learn something in every mag :)

At that time those who fear Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion,

and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening..." ~ Malachi 3:16

The April 2015  Awake about discipline is sorely needed.   I am employed by a school for 33 years and through the years it seems that each young ones coming up is more uncontrollable , more lack of respect and in some cases rude.   Quite a few anymore are on some sort of medication.   This article on Discipline is very well written  article.

At our Kingdom Hall we have some of grade school level and they begin chasing each other in and out of the brothers before or after meetings.   Or they will go outside after the meeting is over and run around the Kingdom Hall or in through cars in the parking lot as some are backing up to exit the parking lot.  It is something that occurs nearly every meeting.   I think of what new ones attending or Bible studies think when they see that type of behaviour . Something has been mentiioned several times to those in oversight.

I found that very interesting too. I wonder where they found those studies. I'd love to read the research done. Anybody know? Is there a reference to this statement somewhere?

interesting to view April WT cover with April Awake! cover...

1 youth brought up in the ways of Jehovah, 1 not

  similar to Dec mags,

  2 men gazing skyward,

each alone and in a different place with his thoughts

is there anything more exciting than our spiritual treats :D

   love the anticipation
