When the publications first became available in EPUB format I already owned a Kindle. I started using a program called Calibre to convert the EPUB publications to MOBI for my Kindle. The program is a free download from the internet.

Then I undertook a much harder job. I took several publications that were not in EPUB format and reformatted them so that I could make EPUB and MOBI files from them. The list of books I turned into EPUB and MOBI files are listed below.

PAY ATTENTION TO DANIEL'S PROPHECY

ISAIAH'S PROPHECY VOL. 1

ISAIAH'S PROPHECY VOLUME 2

SURVIVAL INTO A NEW EARTH

WORSHIP THE ONLY TRUE GOD

and others.

If anyone is interested and if it is permissible I can provide a link for others to download these books. The only drawback is that I did not have time to link all the scriptures. If a publication that I have converted later becomes available on JW.ORG you may want to replace my version with the better version from JW.ORG.

I would suggest sharing the link through private messaging, since the organization doesn't make these available on JW.org. The entire public can read posts in this particular forum, so even non-members could click your links.

For the same reasons (i.e. copyright) we do not host such publications here in our Files Library even though it's only accessible to members.

Alternatively, we could move this post to a members only forum. We've allowed such links in the past since we wouldn't be the ones hosting and distributing the copyrighted work.

Just my thoughts.

Just out of curiosity, what's so great about EPUB vs PDF formats?  I have everything on my tablet in PDF. Am I missing out on something?

"I am convinced that nothing can separate us from God's love." Romans 8:38, 39

"Estoy convencido de que nada puede separarnos del amor de Dios" Romanos 8:38, 39

If you use Moon Reader and the Epub format then the scriptures will pop up when you click on the scripture link instead of redirecting you to another page.

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

If you like PDF format that is great.

I have used PDF format on my Kindle and it was OK.  I started using MOBI on my Kindle and it does have a few advantages.  The scriptures have links in the articles and you can go straight to the scriptures from the article.  You can change the size of the type and don't have to worry about scrolling around to see the full page.  The questions are next to each paragraph instead of at the bottom of the page, so there is less scrolling around.  Pictures can be enlarged to full screen if you know how.

With EPUB, everything above applies plus you can highlight text in 4 different colors if you wish.  In the table of contents you have the songs built right in.  You can link to the songs directly (just lyrics, not the musical notes).

As I said, If you like the PDF format, that is great.  I started using PDF on my Kindle and I was just about the only one in the congregation using a device at the time.  If you are satisfied with that there is no reason to change.

That works fine after you have the ePUB format on your device.  That is because someone has already set up the links when the ePUB file was made.  What I am trying to do is make the ePUB files and that requires linking the scriptures so that they will be available like you are talking about.
