I absolutely LOVE watching or listenings to Brother Lett speak. He makes me feel like a small child sitting on the floor at the feet of his Granny's rocking chair, feet crossed, attentive to every word. He is such a warm and loving speaker. I just saw his latest video on JW Broadcasting on "Maintain the Oneness of the Spirit".

There was one part in the video he got very serious! I won't spoil it for anyone though....

I really enjoy the Brothers on the current Governing body. Jehovah gives us the right brothers for the times we are in and I absolutely love these (what I call ) "new generation" of G.B. brothers.

Brother Morris was a local and circuit level Elder who was in the same Pioneer school my wife went to. When we saw him appointed to G.B., we were thrilled. We were already used to hearing him on circuit and district programs and respect him greatly. No " yeah but " in that brother... :D

Another reason I like talks by brother Lett is that his speech is very clear and easy to understand for us non-native speakers.

Brother Lett addressed the dress and grooming issue. Nice reasoning presented. ☺

"there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·lijah?" To this (Elijah) he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies"- 1 Kings 19:9, 10 Reference Bible

Ecclesiastes 7:21 "..., do not give your heart to all the words that people may speak," - Reference Bible

Br Jackson was at our District Convention this past year.

I wanted to pass on the regards of a sister who pioneered with him years ago.

When he heard my Canadian accent - he said to me " You know why they called it Canada?"

Uh, noooo.

Because - you spell it "C - ay - N - ay - D - ay!"

'cuz they all say "ay" a lot.

He couldn't stop laughing at his joke.

And from what I've heard, he tends to try and break the seriousness of the other GB members.

He's obviously just a kid!

i am very impressed at the fluency of all the brothers in the videos. I am sure they are very specific in their counsel to one another and that kind of fluency is a good goal for all brothers who have the responsibility of teaching publicly. It is a basic point of counsel in the ministry school. Very very fine example.

I know Geoff Jackson's parents, they are lovely people with a great sense of humor.

*waving from Perth!*

Yes, fellow Aussies were just thrilled to see both Brother Lett and Brother Jackson at last year's convention, with their talks broadcasted to all the regionals and the international in Melbourne.  When we got to see Bro Jackson interviewing a faithful old couple in Townsville, and then finding out they were his parents, well we were choked with emotion.  How wonderful to see that faithful family together!

And Brother Lett's smile was so contagious - his sincerity was real and we could tell he really believed and lived what he preached, and that made his talks very listenable.

Br. Jackson's parents were at our conention and had a part as well.

Nice family!

I used to live in Brisbane in the 80's Mark.

Mt Gravatt and then Alex Hills.

Really enjoyed living there - but the hills were challenging when it came to witnessing!
