A conservative Catholic organisation in Poland has warned parents to be on their guard against "demonic crisps" that have appeared in shops across the country.

The cheese-flavoured Cheetos snack brand now comes in packets labelled "Demon," "Vampire" and "Skeleton", with the crisps inside shaped into a crude representation of demons, ghosts, bats and other objects associated with horror films.

On its website the Fronda organisation said the crisps were being promoted as "innocent family fun" but in reality could entice children into the "dangerous world of demons". It also warned people that the crisps were now available in shops after an "intensive media campaign which included advertising on television".

In one of the advertisements a man is picked up by an invisible force and hurled against a wall, in a scene reminiscent of a poltergeist horror film, after eating one of the snacks.

Produced by food and beverage giant PepsiCo, Cheetos have become a well-known brand on the Polish market.

This is getting ridiculously overwhelming. We have to be on guard about what we watch, what we listen to, who we walk, sit, and, talk with. Now we have to teach our kids to be on the lookout for... demonic chips. :o  satan isn't leaving ANY aspect of our lives untouched. How privileged we truly are, to be in this spiritual paradise, being taught...and, constantly reminded of how to avoid his snares.

Psalms 51:6 "In the secret self...may you cause me to know sheer wisdom"

There's be an episode of BJF with Caleb coming home munching some "vampire potato chips" his friend gave him in school no doubt...

Mom "Caleb, what are you eating?"

Caleb "Vampire chips, they're tasty"

Mom: Caleb, do you know what a Vampire is?

Caleb "er... No, not really..."

Mom: "Come and sit down... "

Then again... They are corn and flavoring conglomerated into a stupid shape. Though I wouldn't intentionally buy them, if someone handed me a bag for free, I would probably eat them. They are just cheetos, after all, and cheetos cannot be possessed by demons nor can eating them possess us. It I'd an undesirable shape but it is one of many produced by a company attempting to appeal to as many demographics as possible. The shape holds no power.
