WOW, OUR DELIVERANCE IS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER!!! YEAH!!!!  OBEDIENCE WILL BE THE KEY TO OUR SURVIVAL!!!!  April's Jw Broadcasting goes well with this WT (other subjects inside of it), endurance, Jehovah holdings onto our hand, if we don't let go ourselves, even if one dies, dies loyal to Jehovah, his hand never lets go of ours.  Wow, am impressed... we see the GT coming our way.

perhaps these can be merged since we've been talking about it since March 30th   ... http://jwtalk.net/forums/topic/20105-spoiler-alert-youre-deliverance-is-getting-near-july-2015-study-edition-watchtower/

I think since this is in the JW news announcing the mag is available and the other is in the "Deep" forum, we can leave these 2 separate - this as an announcement and that as a discussion of the articles.

But it is a good thought.    we are always looking for ways to keep the site "clean" and have a nice flow. I am glad you added the link. That should make moving between the 2 easy.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Soon .....

Is it me, or have they increased the font size and reduced the margins?

After a quick glance I didn't notice any change in margins, but the size and typeface of the study questions are noticeably different.

I remember we spoke about the article entitled “Your Deliverance Is Getting Near”! back when it "leaked" a while ago. I was really eager and excited about it.

I sort of have mixed feelings about it now. I kind of wished it had been a little deeper than it was concerning what to expect in the Great Tribulation. For example how, more precisely, we can work on what is mentioned in study paragraph 18

"what sort of people you ought to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion, as you await and keep close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah"

I appreciated the exposition on the "rapture" topic and how this relates to the "blink of an eye" mentioned in 1 Corinthians. I always expected that there will be some anointed left on earth when things step up to the grand climax, who will not "fall asleep in death"

What I really didn't understand was

"However, the Bible clearly shows that “the sign of the Son of man”  will appear in heaven and that Jesus will come “on the clouds of heaven.” (Matt. 24:30) Both of these expressions imply invisibility.

Matthew 24:30
Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

In what way does "appearing" and "all the tribes [...] will see the Son of man coming" "imply invisibility"? What am I missing here? Are they referring to the original greek words implying invisibilty?

Sort of wish they would have gone deeper into that point.

I guess because it mentions the sign of the son and not the son himself. Also mentioning coming on the clouds... That implies invisibility the way I see it
