JWTalk - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

I've registered for an account, but still cannot access the forums. WHY?

Recommended Posts

I just signed up a few minutes ago, and I tried logging in but it says I'm not a member. What gives?

Sadly, this is all too common. Odds are, you didn't read the membership application closely. Here's a refresher...

You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address. You must respond to this in order for your application to be reviewed by an administrator. After this 2-step verification process has taken place you will be a member. If you haven't gotten a verification email, check your spam folder. While most emails only take seconds to arrive, sometimes there is a "traffic jam" on the internet that slows things down. Give it a few minutes to arrive.

Okay, I responded to my verification email, and still cannot see the forums. What's going on?

The ability to read carefully is a prerequisite for participating on a discussion forum. Remember this part of the membership application?....

Now that you have verified your email address, your application will be submitted for review to the forum administrators. Each application is read and reviewed by a real person who checks it for accuracy. Sometimes applications get backed up, plus the administrators have work, family, and congregation responsibilities outside of JWTalk, so it may take a few days to get approved. We thank you in advance for your patience.

However, if you just entered gibberish or incorrect information on your application, it will be denied with usually no effort to contact you. If you are concerned this may have happened to your application, you may contact the administrators via email.

I've checked my Spam folder and have waited a while and no email verification has arrived. Now what?

It's possible that you entered your email address incorrectly. Go ahead and contact the administrators via email and we'll look into it.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
