LOOK: IT’S RAINING SPIDERS IN AUSTRALIA

post-1015-0-67101700-1431981624_thumb.jp

Millions of tiny spiders appeared to be raining from the sky in Australia earlier this month. One resident of Goulburn in New South Wales said his house looked like it had been abandoned and taken over by spiders. And scientists says this is entirely possible

Scientists say that one migration technique associated with the eight-legged creatures might explain why locals could think it was raining spiders. A technique called “ballooning”, is used mostly by baby spiders. They will climb to the top of a plant or tree and release a streamer of silk that catches on the wind and carry the spider along.

Here’s a video of what appears to be a similar phenomenon to what occurred in Australia, caught on video in Brazil in 2013:

So archneaphobia does exist.  I remember the nightmare movie, Yikes,

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

Looks like we were on the same page yesterday. I posted this same info. last night after 10. I just noticed that you had posted this much earlier. How can I erase mine? And, will anyone from these areas confirm this is legit?
