Jurassic World

Recommended Posts

I saw Jurassic World today. I wont give anything away but you would think someone would have developed better safety protocols and emergency procedures by now  :) .

Other that that, it was a good movie.  :)

The funny thing is, these series of Jurassic movies shows that dinosaur's became extinct for a very good reason and yet here we have a fourth movie showing the havoc they can cause by re-creating all the species and then adding some- like that wasn't covered well enough in the first three movies!

Don't live for the moment - live for the future! :D

A friend and I went to see it 2 Friday's ago.

I had a really bad toothache so that undoubtedly detracted

a great deal from my enjoyment of the movie.

But it was okay.

Hard to comment on the movie without

spoiling it for those who haven't seen it yet.

I have the first three on DVD.

Even went to see the original

in 3-D, last year.   B)  :D

I will never forget hearing T-Rex

coming from that theater's DOLBY sound system

for the very first time. post-5984-0-58486200-1436360158.gifpost-5984-0-35772700-1436360197.gifpost-5984-0-53054200-1436360228.gif

I thought it was funny that the same logic they used to make the amusement park more exciting is the same logic they used to make the movie. People want something bigger, badder, more teeth...

DON'T MESS WITH THE      T-REX

I recently saw a show that analyzed the data and suspected habits of the T-REX, and explained why their specialists had concluded that REX was actually a scavenger, who slept most of the time, and fed itself by stealing the prey of other, smaller creatures.

Evidence was shown that seemed to prove that REX was too large to provide himself with enough fuel to maintain an active daily routine and freely hunt. And that Rex was not equipped to feed itself with the amounts of vegetation required to supply it with the stores of energy that would permit it to roam and feed like a vegetarian,

REX bite marks appear to be among the fossil remains of smaller animals, who rested near the partial remains of their own prey; which REX apparently dragged away, before coming back to possibly dine on the wounded victim that Rex left to limp away, empty handed.

This- not so noble- discovery explains a lot, but was not well-received among fans who desire to worship REX as the noble king.

But don't blame me!  I'm just reporting what someone else, concluded.    :)

So, no real "facts" here, just another opinion.

The truth is, there is no actual evidence to say positively if the Rex was a scavenger, a vegetarian or an aggressive hunter - any of those could be the case.

Personally, I have suspected that the Rex may have been a "hardwood" eater while other dino's ate the softer woods. I'm not so sure that any of them were aggressive hunters, though some may have been carrion eaters.

Regardless, the movie version of the Rex is still fun

Who's for lunch?

Ok, you started it...

Did you see how much it cost to get into the Jurassic World amusement park?

An arm and a leg!

All they had to do in the first place, was not hire an obvious peanut, to develop their security system.

I would've called in an airstrike, once it got out of hand.

And no flying pterodactyl  would've stood a chance.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it but going in to look is just never a smart thing to do...
