Hello and thank you for reading this and allowing me on this site,

 

I have a Lenovo Twist u230 ultrabook that I have had the JWLibrary on since the app became available. Since a couple of updates ago everything was working properly. Now I cannot load the library without rebooting the computer. I have tried uninstalling the app and rebooting/reinstalling, only downloading the song book and the KM's, but within two or three tries I am unable to load the app. I get the logo ccreen but no buffer wheel, then it closes, well it closes the screen but it still is "open" in the left menu bar until I right click and manually close it. I am wondering if perhaps the cleaner programs I am using like Advanced System Care or Wise Cleaner 365. When I do a search for troubleshooting JWLibrary I am finding that their issues or related to downloading certain books or that rebooting/updating was the issue. These are unfortunately not the issues here it seems. Thanks, Sam

I'm not techie, but I had a quick look at another thread regarding problems with the app, and there might be some suggestions there that you may be able to try.  Here is that thread:

Build 210: Fixed a bug where the app would crash on startup when it was installed on the SD card.
Build 208: Fixed a bug where the app would get stuck when trying to open.
We are aware of another issue where it is not possible to open the Daily Text. If this happens to you, please send an email with details.

• Improved support for languages using scripts other than Latin.
• Download videos and audio programs to SD cards.

 

I wonder if your problems will soon be fixed with the next update?  Hope so!

I would uninstall and do a defrag of your file system before trying again, clean your registry and defrag it as well.  Then start in safe mode and try reinstalling the app. sometimes this will work and sometimes it won't.

Thank you friends, I too am hoping for an update, so far I have uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, defrag'd, cycled the power, Advanced System Care and Wise Care 365, and still, when I download the app it works periodically. I cannot download any of the libraries as it will work while the app is open then once the app is closed then restarted, it will not open.

 

I am seriously considering jumping ship and getting an Ipad, *shudder.

Oh, I see, you want to go from bad to Worse. O.K. so I am an Android guy and don't like the bite Apple would take out of my pocket for an inferior product. My opinion only! A few people are really happy with apple products.
