Game consoles

Recommended Posts

Do you have a certain game console (Playstation, X-Box, Wii, ...) you like to play with?

And if you do, what kind of games do you prefer?

We own an X-Box Kinect 360, and although the frequency in playing has decreased (not enough time),

sometimes we remember this little box....

I like games in which you need certain skills :loopy: , sports games :touche::surrender: and most of all - karaoke games :punk::whistling:

What about you?

We have an Xbox One. It really is now much more than a game console. We of course play games on it, personally I love racing games, Forza 6 has some amazing graphics. Plus I like that it has backwards compatibility since I have a lot of Xbox 360 games still lying around. It comes in handy for watching the monthly broadcasts too.

My son loves Forza. We have an xbox - first time ever as I didn't have them when my children were young now they are adults they have got one. I sometimes play minecraft (in peaceful) with my son and son in law online and we all build houses together and have competitions as to who builds the best house or apartment building. There aren't many games you can play that are okay.

Minecraft is a great game too. I like it because I don't have a lot of time to play usually and Minecraft is one of those games where you can jump on play for 5-10 minutes and then get back to more important things.

Yeah I know of the other side of minecraft but for us its just an online lego type set. We even built underground shopping malls on one world. It was fun, but yes it's something that can be left and come back to later on.

Right now I only have PC games. But I've played with almost game console, and know about a lot of games. I'm pretty nerdy. I've been dying to find a multiplayer server for Minecraft with JWs. I was on one with my ex back in the day, but obviously not on it now. I've just been playing on servers with only 5 people on it; nice and safe lol

I just recently picked up an xbox and I'm so looking forward to the dance games, didn't realize there was a karaoke game too....... I'd probably play hockey, but then my husband would get angry when I SPANK him with Japan........ or some other not so high scoring team hehehe

Last time we played he put the controller through our glass coffee table..... while we were playing mariokart

How do you watch the broadcasts on there? I'm still using my Roku but to be able to use Roku in another room and watch broadcast on Xbox one would be nice!!

I downloaded the Microsoft Edge browser. It's as simple as navigating to the JW Broadcasting site and clicking play.

I have a PS4, which is mostly multi-purpose (and probably 75% used to just watch Netflix, Hulu, and BluRay movies). It's there for the few games I want to play that aren't going to be available on the PC. But, my main "console" is a gaming PC (and I'm about ready to build a new one this weekend).
