Actually with that amount of flour and that amount of chicken when you spread that much breading  out on that much chicken it doesn't taste salty at all in fact it almost taste like it needs salt

So I'm looking at this recipe and the quantities look like Ts but some are making this into tablespoons...this makes 1 cup of spice mix to 2 cups of flour...does that really make sense? Or should the recipe be read as teaspoons? That would be about 1/3 c. of spices to 2 cups flour.

Can anyone who's tried it tell me what they think?

We haven't tried the spices yet Audrey...the supposed secret recipe just came out, but just cooking the chicken in a pressure cooker...our guests thought it was the original KFC recipe...enjoy   :D

We've done a few from off online ... i think 2 different recipes, to us they don't taste like KFC, but I'm not a fan of KFC - Tom is/was - but I like it better than KFC.

If you want to do hot and spicy ... up the chili powder and add crushed cornchips.

Oh and for soft chicken life KFC soak your chicken in buttermilk overnight and double dip or double coat your chicken.
