Plastic/fake rice?

Perhaps sent by someone seeking revenge for being ripped off by a Nigerian scammer?

I was wondering if a Nigerian prince was getting married. ...

Probably not. This is a fresh scam. I feared this would happen.
With the price of rice more than doubling in a space of a few months in an economy managed by illiterates with nepotistic proclivities, some heartless people in China and the stereotypical Nigerian international businessman whose very existence threatens the possibility of progress for a generation of brilliant youths born into very unfortunate conditions, I guess it was bound to happen.

I wonder if Paul was ever ashamed of being called Roman.

The Surulere and Port Harcourt regions are close to my heart (I have dear friends there), so this article is indeed a cause for concern.  I continue to pray for our brothers and sisters there.  (It was there that my "adopted" spiritual mum taught me how to make jollof rice and dodo, stew and porridge over the years.)  I am forever indebted to her.
