The Jehovah's Witnesses are expected to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, but Russia may well ignore any verdict in their favour.
So it doesn't matter if the decisions of the lower courts are overturned, Russia will do as she pleases? Interesting.

True, if they deem it is unconstitutional, but the more they do so, the more strain it will put on international relations. Diplomatic entities from other countries are very interested in this case.

Doesn't this remind you of how many times Moses  went before  Pharaoh and he ignored them each time, doing just what he wanted?

Until it was Jehovah's time to finally destroy them all at the Red Sea when they were trying to destroy His people?

Maybe after this all plays out we will see a parallel..

While raking, I found myself praying for Jehovah to help our Russian brothers and sisters to endure.

I also found myself praying for Jehovah to help me endure what our Russian family members will be forced to endure.

My heart hurts every time one of our family members suffers.

Whether from natural or mandmade (unjust persecution) disasters, I have that 'fellow feeling' we are all encouraged to develop and maintain.

I came to the realization that all of Jehovah's people are empaths...our hearts are tender and open to more than just Jehovah's teachings.

We hate what He hates.

We love what he loves.

We feel what he feels.

 

I also prayed that my soul would be concealed in Sheol, so that my heart wouldn't have to be hurt anymore.

Really need to redirect my prayers to begging Jehovah to carry my heart's heavy load for me...I cannot take much more of this septic system of things.

Yesterday, I even found myself crying because the trees  in our yard are dying from diseases, because pollution has weakened their natural ability to

fight off attacks.

 

Too much death, too much killing...too much injustice!!!!

Relief simply cannot be too far off.

I watched the process from start fill end. I had the feeling that the court wouldn't speak in our favor... it's because there are so many things happening lately, as if events are speeding up. Beside of that I still hoped else for our brothers and sisters, cause I'm afraid that those attacks on our brothers between april and now will intensivate. I prayed to Jehovah to take care of them and give them extra strenght. But as mentioned earlier, Jehovah would let the court decide on our behalf if it was his will. And it went into another direction.

So it seems this has to to be the outcome. May our brothers be strenghtened. The convention is real spiritual food given at the right time.

I've been praying for Jehovah to support our dear friends in Russia, no matter the result. (Down deep, I don't feel we lost. How can we loose with Jehovah on our side) 

"Expect the unexpected", and, "Jehovah does things with class". I know, down the road, all will be okay. What hurts is the suffering the friends are going through. They can't just ban us, take our property, and go their way. They have to be mean and ugly, on a personal level. Burn houses, take jobs, be nasty and vulgar. 

I know the demons don't have more insight then we do, but they have to know they are about to be put in a state of inactivity, and are being as cruel and vicious as possible, before this happens. So, they will have their last hurrah, and then pay the price. What is way too bad is the humans that join them. They will have a price to pay. We can just pray that honest hearted ones will get out of this, and turn to Jehovah. 

As we well know, "The nations will have to know I am Jehovah".  Are we seeing this process culminate into the Geeat Tribulation?

Time will tell.

Under Russia's extremist law and the wrong way in which they've used it, any atheist can take umbraige with any religion and get it shut down the same way - in trying to get rid of a tiny ant they have blown up the whole house as it were.

I'm very sad....  Jehovah didn't make miracle... Why? He glorified his name already....  I really don't understand everithing.... Need time for understading it.... Now we will have many difficulties... i don't want live here.

Sorry, I am not quite sure exactly what you are saying. I know that you are distressed and I am sure that everyone here wants to help you.

 

EDIT: I just went to your profile and saw a comment where you stated that you live in Russia. I am so sorry you are going through these trials right now. Be sure and stay as close to the brothers there that you are allowed to. I anticipate comments more encouraging than mine to come. (There are likely over 8,000,000 brothers and sisters praying for y'all) I will include you personally in mine.

Just i don't understand everything... Jehovah wants something... But what? I don't say about our obedience. I mean in global meaning.

I wouldn't say that i am very distressed, just i don't want to live here, and there isn't need in publishers. I reflected about relocation, and now, i think, time became.

Just remember that Jehovah needs you there where are you are as much as anywhere else, and that you can give him great honour by staying your course and not giving in to fear.

 

Also, remember the great sacrifices and efforts that need to be made when migrating to a foreign country. Do you have family? Don't forget to consider their needs.

 

Put it in personal prayer to Jehovah and tell him your fears, anxieties, and worries, and ask for his guidance.

 

And don't forget that we are all there for you guys and that not a day goes by where we don't pray for you.

I am also thinking about this scripture... can all this have something to do with it? I dont know, have to wait and see, but there is a reason why Jehovah is allowing this to happen. We are so close now that anything can start happening anytime!

We do see in the scriptures how Jehovah can effectively maneuver things so that the greatest number of people can get an effective witness.  He did that with Egypt, making his name well known wonderfully. Exodus 9:6

Marius, dear brother, it's quite in order to be upset for our brothers and sisters, and not understand what is going on from Jehovah's viewpoint. 

 

None of us know the mind of Jehovah ... what we hear are just mere whispers.

 

Think about it though, IF this appeal had gone the way WE wanted it to, WE would have given Jehovah glory because we don't have the veils over our eyes, we can see the outworkings of Jehovah.   The rest of the world however, would NOT have given the credit to Jehovah - they would have conveyed that the Russian Government had shown us mercy, not a victory for Jehovah and certainly would not have been on the world stage.

 

If we go back to Moses, the Egyptians and the Red Sea, remember their backs were to the wall, or to the water in this instance, and if Pharoah had relented prior to the red sea ... would Jehovah's fame become known around about the nations to the extent it did? By the time the red sea event happened, there was a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire visibly protecting Jehovah's people, that couldn't be explained away ... around 3 million people (counting women and children and those from Egypt who joined them) walked upon the dry seabed - a days walk from one end to the other. All these events my dear, cannot be explained away - they could only be attributed to our God Jehovah.

 

So if we relate it to what is happening now ... IF this is in anyway the catalyst to future events, (and it may or may not be) then when Jehovah shows his might, and his power on behalf of his people and his name, it won't be a wishy washy decision made by three older men sitting behind a bench who at this stage have no regard for evidence or justice ... we are going to be so proud to be Jehovah's people in the public arena soon .. so don't get nervous, or confused because its not going the way we want it to ... leave it in Jehovah's hands and don't channel your expectations into one direction ... let this play out the way its going to.

I like to think of Harold King and Stanley Jones. They lost their court case and ended up spending 5-7 years in prison isolated from other brothers and Jehovah's organization. Also Nancy Yeung. But what a fine witness they ended up giving and all were very zealous and active after they obtained their freedom. The point is they lost in worldly courts but ended up victorious.
