Upgrade at 12 NOON Eastern Time - Save Your Work   05/22/2017

Hello everyone,   We will be upgrading JWTalk Forums at 12 PM, which is in approximately 40 minutes.   This is a MAJOR server overhaul, and we will be down for some time.   During this time, accessing topics or submitting posts may not work. Please save your work until the upgrade is complete. This message will disappear and the bottom of the page will read "JWTalk 17.5.22 by Robert Angle" when complete. I will also update my status.   Your brother,   - Bob

I wrote down a few facts on my journal that I took from the internet. Unsure if this has been posted before. I'll start with DNA.

Please feel free to correct any inaccuracies.

1. Human adult is made up of around 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (7 octillion: 7x10 to the 27th) atoms.

2. 1 teaspoon of DNA carries instructions for building 350 times the number of humans alive today

3. In average life span of a human, DNA is copied 10,000,000,000,000, 000 times (1x10 to the 15th).

More mind-blowing facts:

Almost all of ordinary matter (99.9999999% of it) is empty space. If you took out all of the space in our atoms, the entire human race (all 7 billion of us) would fit into the volume of a sugar cube.

There might be as many as three sextillion stars in the universe. That’s 3 followed by 23 zeros, or 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. That’s more than all of the grains of sand on Earth.

Last year, scientists found the most luminous galaxy with light of more than 300 trillions (million million) suns.
