  4. "I was so lucky" Roxette It's no secret I've been waiting But I didn't expect this Nothing will remain Nothing stays the same After you came It's no secret I've been starving I never felt anything for years I sat up all night Just to watch your smile When you're sleeping I was so lucky you came by And turned a different corner I could've been somewhere else You could've passed by, could've passed by Come on and sail the sea with me Come on, let's go around the world Maybe find a flat Or a canyon house For the season I was so lucky you came by And turned a different corner It could've been someone else You had in mind I was so lucky you found me My rags turned gold and silver I could've been somewhere else You could've passed by, could've passed by What would you make of this, my baby? The sun through the trees Is there a better place to be? I was so lucky you came by And turned a different corner It could have been someone else You had in mind, oh my I was so lucky you picked me My trash turned to silver Yea, I could have been somewhere else You could've passed by, could'be passed by
  5. "Ocean" by Darren Hayes Even though I know you're gone The memory lingers on I see your footsteps on a sandy beach The waves have been crashing on, on You know that danger goes where emotion flows, I wish sometimes I'd never known love It's dangerous The way I can't move on Lost in emotion Only an ocean could know The weight of the world on my shoulders Thinking of you, my love I wish I could drown out emotion, 'till only the ocean knows Walking down the boulevard The water still calls your name A thousand tides may rise and fall But darling I feel the same, oh You said it's dangerous to love so deeply I never cared, I felt completely It's dangerous The waves crash on the shore But never repeating Only an ocean could know The weight of the world on my shoulders Thinking of you, my love I wish I could drown out emotion, 'till only the ocean knows Wash me away Carry my heart on an ocean Love has forsaken, been taken to somebody else I wish I could drown my emotions, 'till only the ocean knows And I still hear your song (I can hear it, I can hear it) It's in the call of the ocean (Call of the ocean, weight of emotion) It has been here for so long (Can't you feel it, can't you feel it) Only an ocean could know The weight of the world on my shoulders Thinking of you, my love I wish I could drown out emotion, 'till only the ocean knows Wash me away Carry my heart on an ocean Love has forsaken, been taken to somebody else I wish I could drown my emotions, 'till only an ocean knows (Only an ocean could know) Only an ocean could know The weight of the world on my shoulders Thinking of you, my love I wish I could drown out emotion, 'till only the ocean knows Wash me away Carry my heart on an ocean Love has forsaken, been taken to somebody else I wish I could drown my emotions, 'till only an ocean knows (Only an ocean could know) Only an ocean could know The weight of the world on my shoulders Thinking of you, my love I wish I could drown out emotion, 'till only the ocean knows Wash me away Carry my heart on an ocean Love has forsaken, been taken to somebody else I wish I could drown my emotions, 'till only an ocean knows (Only an ocean could know)

  13. Easy....someone got hands on time machine, recorded the song and took off to the future...leaving us with mystery song LOL
  14. So this here has been dubbed the most mysterious song on the internet, and perhaps in the world which is from the 1980s. According to the description Pretty interesting, perhaps anyone here may know what it is? Though it's a long shot. Though I'd share one of the world's wonders. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Most_Mysterious_Song_on_the_Internet
  15. Beautiful French music. Violin and piano in the Franck, and the same with added string quartet in the Chausson.
  16. You might be interested in this thread dedicated to posting music
  17. Currently playing album: Fleetwood Mac : Tusk (high resolution 24/192 flac)
  18. I have a pair of Beyerdynamic headphones for the rare occasions I need to listen while not affecting others, and a pair of Grado earbuds to use on the go with an Astell & Kern portable hires player. Most listening is using Tannoy Stirling SE Prestige speakers with Tannoy supertweeters.
  19. Matt, I thought Blues Brothers started the trend, ohh..that Hollywood influence LOL
  20. Interesting documentary which explores the roots of modern music. Blues itself goes back to the late 1800s, so it's pretty cool.
