http://ekjonathan.blogspot.com I recently visited E.K. Jonathan's blog looking for any updates regarding his next installment entitled "Stay". Here's a tidbit: This is great news indeed! Since "Flee" was released last September, I've been sitting on "the edge of my seat" and my derrière is getting numb! Come on April!5 points

Now, for you music video lovers, our song for the month is Confident in You. If you just can't wait for the MP3 version to be released in a couple of weeks so you can put it on your phone, you can have it now! Just go to my small collection of songs and download it! Confident in You Like a tree planted in the ground, Your words have sunk deep down Into my heart and soothed my mind with gentle thoughts of peace. ’Cause no matter what may come, With this wisdom from above, I always have these truths to keep reminding me to Go on; don’t be afraid. Hold on to what Jehovah says. Through all the storms, your words have Given my strength to endure. And every day I am more confident in you. When this world tries to pull me down, To give up on what I’ve found, I turn to you and know that you are always there. It takes time to meditate— Get the words from off the page And in my heart so they can help and guide me to Go on; don’t be afraid. Hold on to what Jehovah says. Look beyond any adversity. Focus on the things that I can’t see. Through all the storms, your words have Given me strength to endure. And every day I am more confident in you— In you. Go on; don’t be afraid. Hold on to what Jehovah says. Look beyond any adversity. Focus on the things that I can’t see. Through all the storms, your words have Given me strength to endure. And every day I am more confident in you.4 points -

The Watchtower Library on DVD can't be loaded onto an iPad or an Android device. It runs on Windows 10 only. Some tablets will operate on Win 10 and they can usually use the WT Library (2016 or whatever). Some Apple Macintosh users have found Windows emulators to make the Library work (or load it in the Wine system). There are some iPad users who purchase the Isilo app and then find copies of the Watchtower Library that have been converted into PDB files that re read by Isilo. I believe the last time this was done was for the 2013 edition in English, Sorry, there appears to be no effort to convert the WT Library to Apple or Android by our organization.4 points

This thread is about "favorite" talks, but my least favorite is still "The Godly View of Sex and Marriage". I am older now and can give this presentation without too much embarrassment. I feel empathy for any new studies that come to hear a talk for the first time, if this is the one I deliver. It seems to be in demand (maybe we need the counsel more these days). In the middle when the talk directly refers to various unapproved sex acts, I was tempted to trim that down (after all, it had to be reduced from 45 minutes to 30 minutes, right?). But I reasoned with myself, if the brothers at headquarters were bold enough to put it in print, I was man enough to say in public. So I do. Not my favorite though.3 points

The Big pot The big pot It ever tends to be hot And asks for lot. As I look around , For this big ground There is nothing around. But the pot is more hotter And its not going to be softer. So I start on the dangerous mission For I know, it won't listen. And I can see the vision It's going to be like this all season. Man ,what am I to do For I can't even move Unless I fill it with few But the pot is greedy It won't respect the needy. Lo and behold I find a pack of snacks. Though they fill me Though they refresh me But they too Kill me. Oh God I am tired Filling this pot. I wish to live not. Apart from this No solution I have got. But as I wait for your wisdom Which many seek seldom I am delighted To find a path Which comes and lands Directly in my lap. O My Dear God Jehovah Every moment Every blink You just can't stop Taking care of me. Not only you are there to guide, You are always on my side. Always. Hence not only my big pot is chilled But you saved me from being killed. ( dedicated to the ulcer and acidity my stomach is going thru.) When I was a real little kid sitting around the fire, hearing stories from the old days, they told me you could even make your own talks (no society provided outline). My favourite was on the earthly temple and the spiritual temple, types and anti-types. I think people had more than 7 min attention span back then. We needed it for these deep talks. Return, Phase 1-Sunday Journal entry by Kass Ball — 2/25/2018 The eagle has landed! Cynthia and Trace were safely delivered back to Wooster by the Hillbrunner family this evening. The trip went smoothly and was not as uncomfortable for Cynthia and Trace as we feared. They are staying with friends for now and getting settled in. A convenient meal planning website is being used to schedule meals now that the first set of Butdorfs have returned. You can sign yourself up for a particular date or dates on the website, and even order a meal and have it delivered if cooking is not an option for you. You will receive reminder emails, and all necessary information is available on the site. If you have already emailed your desire to help to caringforbutdorfs@gmail.com, you will shortly receive login information for the site takethemameal.com. If you are interested in providing a meal, please email caringforbutdorfs@gmail.com and login information will be provided. Gillian’s hemoglobin continues to rise at an encouraging rate. She had both physical and occupational therapy today, and it went well. Gillian’s release to rehab is still being evaluated day by day. We never mentioned the incredible support for Butdorfs last week. About 30 friends from Ohio drove to St. Louis over the weekend, along with Atlanta and Florida Butdorf family. Chris’s aunt Rhonda took Ethan under her wing when he was released from ER without much more than his hospital gown. Trace’s cousin Skylar sat with him all that Friday, when much was still uncertain. Chris’s cousin Jamie made a couple trips to retrieve all of their belongings from the authorities. By last Tuesday, all out-of-town visitors had left St. Louis and St. Louis friends took over the support. More Ohio friends were in St. Louis at the end of this past week and weekend. While everyone is happy Cynthia and Trace are home, we have no doubt that the separation is very difficult for all. We continue to keep Chris, Cynthia, Gillian and Trace in our prayers in this new phase of their healing process. All offers for help are being coordinated through the email caringforbutdorfs@gmail.com. Please continue to use the email to communicate your generous offers so they can be matched with needs as they arise. Rehab! Journal entry by Kass Ball — 2/27/2018 Gillian has been released to a St. Louis-area rehab facility! Woo-hoo! The last hgb test came back at 5.8 the other day. Exciting progress! At this time it seems hemoglobin will be tested only once a week. Chris and Gillian just a little while ago arrived at her new place, so they don’t have any details from doctors about the therapy plan. Rehab facilities specialize in one thing, though, so Gillian is expecting the work to start tomorrow. Look at that girl, out of a hospital gown and in real clothes, even! Several have asked what can be done for Chris and Gillian while they are in St. Louis. Chris says nothing for now; they are being well-cared for. Don’t forget to send offers of help to caringforbutdorfs@gmail.com Many have asked to help. Click for the Butdorf GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/Butdorfcaraccident2 points -

We have had Victoria on TV over here. Netflix Australia doesn't have the vast selection you guys in the states but I have just started watching the second series of The Crown about Elizabeth II reign. It begins in series one with the abdication of Edward when he married Mrs Simpson and his younger brother George having to take the throne. Then his death not long after Elizabeth married Phillip followed by her coronation. I am quite enjoying it. Not a documentary and very watchable.2 points -

Soooo, now the Egg on Face declaration: The movie comes across so plausible from start to finish with the show of the treasures in Venice in 2017! I was not interested in researching further as the movie seem to round everything up nicely, but just a couple minutes ago I thought I would look and see if the items were on display elsewhere, and there it is a big article about the "mockumentary" and how it cost millions for this artist to produce!! Wow! It's still worth seeing, but I actually imagine that the story behind the story is probably more interesting. My apologies to all.1 point

Monday, March 5 Let each one keep seeking, not his own advantage, but that of the other person.—1 Cor. 10:24. Suppose you are drawn to a certain style of dress that could possibly disturb some in the congregation. Yet, you may know of no specific Bible law that forbids it. What is Jehovah’s mind on the matter? The apostle Paul offered this inspired counsel: “The women should adorn themselves in appropriate dress, with modesty and soundness of mind, not with styles of hair braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive clothing, but in the way that is proper for women professing devotion to God.” (1 Tim. 2:9, 10) In principle, this counsel applies equally to Christian men. As devoted servants of Jehovah, we are concerned not only with our personal preferences but with the effect that our dress and grooming could have on others. Modesty and love move us to take into account the opinions of fellow believers in order to avoid distracting or even offending them.—1 Cor. 10:23; Phil. 3:17. w16.05 3:141 point

Any good Keto recipes?
LeslieDean reacted to Myew for a topic
You need to make sure that you are not mineral, vitamin or electrolyte deficient in order to bind with oxalates and pass them out of the body. Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium are very important in general, as well as vitamins B, D and K. I supplement some Magnesium and Potassium Citrate, because no matter how much organic vegetables I eat, it will never be enough with how damaged the soil has become. I drink some bentonite clay and diatomaceous earth with the electrolytes in herbal teas (the citrate helps break down the clay clumps too), as well as eat soft bones from bone broth for calcium and trace minerals. Get your fat soluble vitamins from grass fed or pastured animal fat and meat, grain fed or grain finished will not have enough. Also, organ meats are the most dense 'superfoods' by far.1 point -

LeslieDean reacted to Greg Dent for a topic
keto isnt about eating an over abundance or even when you are not hungry. Some days I get up and wont eat a thing until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.(Other than a pot of Coffee) Im not hungry. Then I will get some berries out of the freezer or will have already taken some out. I will have some with some heavy cream and a teaspoon of xylitol. Its really yummy and packed with vitamins. Plus you are getting enough fat from the cream. On Keto you should read the book "Keto reset Diet" by Mark Sisson. Its a great book and explains a lot on Keto diet what the fast does for you and how to supplement. People for get its low carb not no carb. If you do not eat any carbs you need to try to keep them under 20 grams but you could still have say an apple or a pear for fiber. That is if your completely clean with 0 other carbs. Apples and pears have the least amount of sugar compared to say oranges and bananas. The other thing is if you are having a craving for something have it. Chances are you will take a bite and wonder why you wanted it and throw it out. Or feed it to the dog. I find I have very few cravings. I made a mistake and had a couple croissants for breakfast last week. My lord did I suffer for that one. I thought I was passing a 10 pound watermelon. With the xylitol and Erythritol you cannot give them to pets. It can hurt them. Not sure why its in the bulk store where we buy it not to give it to pets.1 point -

My wife and I are doing Keto. I have fallen off the wagon as they say only once. I feel good brain fog is reduced all good. As for sugar substitutes if you are allergic to Rag weed do not use stevia. It is from the rag weed family We use xylitol or erythritol. They are made from sugar alcohol and have no carbs and no calories. Some are mixed with monk fruit they are really good. Stay away from the artificial sweeteners because they will put you off ketosis. They affect your glycemic index the same as sugar. Here best peanut butter cookie recipe ever. 1 cup peanut butter 1 egg 1/4 cup sweetener Mix together and form into balls on parchment paper and squish with a fork. Back in the oven for 10 min at 350 degrees F. I made a triple batch tonight and it make 16 balls about 1.5" round. I like this one for breakfast too. Take 12 eggs and beat them in a large bowl. Take serrano ham and line the cups in a muffin tin with the ham. Pour the eggs into the cups and put into the oven at 350 for about 10 to 12 min. Take out and add a small slice of your favourite cheese on top. Put back in the oven till its melted. Reheat a few for 14 to 20 seconds in the microwave when you get up and instant breakfast. 10 eggs with ham or prosciutto will fill a 12 piece muffin tin. You can use bacon but you have to precook it a bit or it wont cook in the tin. My wife makes cheese cake for me. She uses a regular recipe but switches out the sugar for xylitol. turns out great.1 point -
