  2. What are the native animals where you live? Do you have a funny story? Habitat facts and interesting bits...? For added value please feel free to add "story" of your pet.. I'll start by sharing Kangaroo boxing event captured this morning. Bit sad fact: Kangaroos have average lifespan of 6 years in the wild. However, most individuals do not reach maturity in the wild. Fighting is also common among kangaroos. They fight for drinking spot or for access to estrous females. During a fight, kangaroos adopt a high standing posture and paw at each other’s head, shoulders, and chests. Exactly like boxing! Moreover, they will also lock forearms and wrestle and push each other. However, kangaroo fights are frequently brief.

  11. From the article: On March 8, Incheon District Court sentenced a Jehovah's Witnesses conscientious objector to 18 months in jail.On the same day, an Ulsan district court gave a not guilty ruling. The first acquittal of a religious conscientious objector came in 2004 and 17 had been found not guilty by 2016. However, last year 45 objectors were acquitted, putting more pressure on higher courts for a final ruling. The brothers have organised a petition addressing this. From jw.org: After the highly publicized meeting, Jehovah’s Witnesses in South Korea organized a campaign to collect signatures on petitions addressed to the president. The government’s policy of punishing conscientious objectors with imprisonment has deeply affected generations of Witnesses. Since President Moon has directed his administration to respond to petitions from the country’s citizens, the petitions request the president’s help to find a solution to the problem that conscientious objectors have faced for some 70 years. https://www.jw.org/en/news/legal/by-region/south-korea/petition-president-resolve-conscientious-objection-issue/ The brothers have been so faithful for so long. Praying that the petition may result in relief for them.

  17. Saw the BBC film critic on tv who yesterday said it is the most boring film he has ever seen and it seems to have been made "politically correct" as they say...... I didn't like the look of the very scruffy Jesus on the clip they showed. Personally I won't be viewing it but I don't view any of these modern biblically themed films as I don't want any of their portrayed images scenes or faces of characters stuck in my minds eye. I can still see Victor Mature as Samson from my youthful days.....

  18. Kangas live down the road from me, about 2 km away in the hills. I've seen them on my walks, but you have to be very early/late in the day as they come out at dawn/dusk. Here are some on the property I stayed on at Margaret River, southern WA. And the kookaburras wake me up in the morning. Very nice! No pics tho.

  24. Also, if you are going to drink bottled water, only drink water that has been stored in room temperature or colder. Don’t drink water that has been stored in the garage during summer or buy the cases of bottled water that’s sitting outside the front of a gas station in the heat because the heat causes the plastic to seep into the water. Also, never microwave food in plastic containers.

  28. They are small but appear to be very strong! The second photo exposes legs a little bit more... Besides the beak, the second most important structural design would be its feet. Kookaburras may spend lots of hours on the branch of a tree, waiting for their prey as it is not always there for them, and so they need very strong feet to allow them to stand that long. Due to the fact that their legs are quite skinny and therefore not very strong, they have their toes stuck together to strengthen their feet so that they can hold on tight.

  31. We don't have anything as exotic as kangaroos - but, native to our area are: The Eastern Diamondback - a pit viper species found in the southeastern United States. It is the heaviest though not the longest venomous snake in the Americas and the largest rattlesnake Alligator - The American alligator is the official state reptile of Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Several organizations and products from Florida have been named after the animal. "Gators" has been the nickname of the University of Florida's sports teams since 1911

  32. Sunday, March 18 By faith we perceive that the systems of things were put in order by God’s word, so that what is seen has come into existence from things that are not visible.—Heb. 11:3. The Bible’s description of faith is found at Hebrews 11:1. Faith focuses on two kinds of things that are not visible to us: (1) “What is hoped for”—this may include future events that have been promised to happen but that have not yet occurred, such as the end of all wickedness and the coming new world. (2) “Realities that are not seen.” In this context, the Greek word translated “evident demonstration” refers to “convincing evidence” of an invisible reality, such as the existence of Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, the angels, and the activities of the heavenly Kingdom. How do we prove that our hope is alive and that we believe in the unseen things spoken of in God’s Word? By our words and deeds—without which our faith would be incomplete. w16.10 4:6

    The Householder Game

Hi everyone, I thought of a new game based on something my family did as kids. Before service, we would present our presentation to my Dad or Mom, and they would do there best to play the most difficult, belligerent householder and quiz us on how we would respond. [emoji23] The tricky part was, like at the door, we had to answer on the spot in the most simple and tactful way. No long explanations, but from the scriptures, calmly and briefly. Simple Example: Poster 1: HELLO?! Not you JW's again! I don't want to talk to people who don't believe in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior!! Poster 2: I know you weren't expecting us, so I'll be brief. We do in fact believe in Jesus Christ, as he is the reason our sins can be forgiven. Are you familiar with John 3:16? ----- Now it's your turn, I'll start: I'm not listening to this!! You JW's have your own Bible, I only read from the REAL original KJV! I have dozens of Bible's, you couldn't teach me anything I don't already know!!

I´m sorry for the missimpression! It was not my intention to teach you. I just wanted to share something beautiful I´ve found with you. Would you mind opening your KJV in Psalms 83:18? I´m looking forward to hearing your opinion about this verse.
