I've just been informed by Social Security that I am no longer considered disabled according to their rules and will lose all support in a couple of months. I've never worked in my life, never able to maintain a strict schedule or cope long term with the chronic pain, irritable bowel and insomnia. It always inevitably leads back into chronic depression and mania. I can do a little, but then I have to follow up with resting for a day. They don't have a majority of my physical issues on file from doctor's reports which is a problem, as I was considered disabled for mental issues... but they were caused by the physical issues in the first place, just haven't been able to find a doctor who understands or properly tests for them yet. Of course, one should expect to read such a letter on one's anniversary of baptism, amirite? (Luke 22:31) “Simon, Simon, look! Satan has demanded to have all of you to sift you as wheat. I just wanted to say that I love this forum and am thankful for the time I've been able to spend with everyone I've met here. ❤️Before I inevitably regress into insanity and say and do things which I will surely regret.

One night, my friend and I were out snowmobiling through the woods. Suddenly, it sounded like someone was shooting at us. We soon discovered that it was not the crack of rifles, but the crack of ice breaking beneath her snow machine. We also discovered that the little 'clearing' we 'thought' we had driven into was actually a pond. We cleared out of that 'clearing' post haste and kept that close call in mind before going into/onto any future open areas...especially at night. Snowmobile headlights aren't all that bright. Come to think of it, neither were we.

My old Kingdom Hall was an ex synagogue. It was large and circular with tall, abstract stained-glass windows. It was quite a cool hall. I wish I had some interior pictures, but I can't find any. *edit*: in looking for some interior pictures, I found something out. The yellowpages website listing for this building still lists it as a Kingdom Hall (even though it's been sold for nearly 10 years) and an apostate has taken it upon themselves to post an "image" of the hall to the gallery. The "image" is just the web address of an apostate propaganda site. I just figured I'd share so you are cautious when searching through public listing sites.

The December issue of the National Geographic contains an interesting record about Bible hunters, discoverers, researchers, and collectors. Also, how do you catalog and translate virtually thousands of pages of newly discovered manuscripts? Who does all the work? However, they are thinking of new, innovative ways to get all the work done. All in all, the article is a positive view on searchers of Bible truth. It's a long read, but worth the effort.

Actually this was also brought out in the documentary "Patterns of Evidence - Exodus" - By Tim Mahoney, The archealogists - at least some of them - when faced with evidence of the Exodus were asked why don't they write about these findings ... they blatantly said: They would have to rewrite everything they've written. It's pride stopping the publishing of many aspects of evidence proving the bible to be true. There are also of course, those who either don't want to see or can't see the truth. That documentary and the book that goes along with it in Amazon goes hand in hand with your findings ... I am certain that Psalms 83:18 is going to be proven in a very tangible way even before the outbreak of the GT.

Yep, after the meeting we had O about 2 inches in the parking lot. Course that’s a little higher in elevation than down in the town of Munising where I live. Its just a snow shower at the moment. There wasn't a great knowledge of Egypt and dating of the pyramids back then, so whenever anything was found there, then many people would automatically look for Biblical evidence, and some would get a bit carried away. There were many in Christendom who had the theory that Seth lived long enough to travel to Egypt and help with the building of the Pyramids and had had them built with clues to special knowledge that might match Biblical prophecies. Many Victorians had sponsored explorations to find more evidence from other pyramids - as if they were all from the same eras in history - to discover clues to Bible prophecy. Later Archaeology has of course shown that the Pyramids are purely the result of pagan beliefs of afterlife and no Truth can be found there. But all those people were faithfully seeking the Truth and we know some of them got closer than others in their faithful quest and were humble enough to discard those theories they once spent time and money looking into to no avail. This left them open for new and better quests for Truth in just the Bible itself.We are still at it today as the light gets brighter when it needs to and Jehovah sees fit to use humble men to guide us and we all check and reason for ourselves on what is put before us. We are all on the quest together to survive together with faith based on reasoned study, so we can continue receiving instructions we have come to know are right to follow.

And talk about saving money, have we ever thought how much money Jehovah is and has saved us by teaching us that the holidays are false, based upon false religion's satanic teachings? I mean all of them really, but especially the big ones like Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve (New Year's Eve is classified as a holiday right?I always wondered), and let's not forget the lesser ones (by comparison) like Valentine's Day. Maybe, hee hee, they should employ only Jehovah's witnesses as bankers, accountants, etc. For then we'll be able to show them how to really budget. 😀

Yup. You are correct. This happened at a location pretty close to me. Nothing good came from it. In fact, one pharmacy that they destroyed declined to rebuild. Now people can't get their medication easily. It is really sad. You are correct again. Listen to Jehovah, get peace of mind, and save lots of money. 😁

Our CO also suggested using FW time to make a Daisy chain of scriptures by cutting and pasting the Sample Presentations into notes attached to the scriptures.

They're destroying their own property, yet protesting about the country that built it. How much sense does that make? It reminds me of the race riots when some African American people broke into businesses, and other atrocities. And what was their "reason?" The "white man" in that they wanted equal treatment, etc. It was their way, (translate "reason" by their definition) of protesting. Yet all their protesting did was cost them and everyone higher taxes to pay, etc to make up for the damage. The same thing happened during a blackout. The result? Again higher taxes, etc. The same will happen to Paris. When the smoke clears if Armageddon doesn't hit them first, higher taxes, etc will be the result. How much better is it, and will it be for them to listen to Jehovah! Not only will it give them peace of mind, it will also save them money, lol. (Sorry but I just had to add "lol" in there because it's not even funny the seriousness of it all).

It is the atmosphere (which will be present in all the sites) will leave a powerful impression. The friendliness to strangers is unsurpassed, especially considering this is powered by love, not money. My thought would be to do the Bible Tour. It has an interesting history, which subtly unlines Jehovah manoeuvring matters for us. It should build his confidence in benefits we can enjoy now, and what is promised for our future. Heb 4:12 comes to mind. You will see how the whole organisation is built on these Holy writings, and 'feel' the love it fosters - first-hand! (I'm a little jealous, but I'm more excited for you. Our CO recommended the same with a special emphasis on using the Personal Study notes section.......We did this AND did the same with Jw.org..we went through all the features and then tested each other...to see how fast we could get to topics or if we could direct people without looking...it was fun

It's snowing side-ways here. Lots of accidents being reported on the scanner. Even the plow trucks were getting stuck. I think it's more because of icy roads, than snowy roads, though.

Then there are those who are blond inside. At the Sunset Hall near Turtle - I saw a sister with two hair colours - brunette and blond. My comment was - that she couldn't make up her mind what colour she wanted ( blond inside )

The temps here were near freezing for a couple of days during the week - now it is back up in the 70's F (21-25 ) and has been raining all weekend, including some thunderstorms - rain and T'Storms are expected through Monday.

Not a drop of snow at all here. But it’s raining cats and dogs. Its 34*. Yesterday weather bug said freezing drizzle for today, now it says 100% chance of snow....no rain in the forecast. False weather prophets. 🙂 I’m skeptical about that temperature. We’ll see about 9:30 🕤 where it is.

Well, without using those kits I have a pretty idea of my heritage. My mother's mom is Sioux, her dad is Cherokee. My dad's mom's folks are from Barbados, his dad is Caucasian. Sooo I guess that makes me a mutt, lol, lol. But seriously this makes me all the more anxious for the resurrection to start for then, in time, I'll be able to meet the whole clan!

I was surprised to find the "Table of Contents" located on the back of the magazine (page 32). I had not noticed since the electronic version still has it placed on the second page visible. But if you look at the digital version, in the upper right corner where the page numbers appear (in very small print) it shows 32 as the page number. So digitally we go from front cover (page 1) to contents (page 32) to article (page 2). In the paper copy of the January 2019 issue, which I received yesterday, it is obvious. It is true of all of the 2019 study issues.

The part of Ukraine we are discussing in this topic is being occupied by Russia. Officially there is no war and the territory belongs to Ukraine. The truth is that they lost control over that part of their country. The east is heavily penetrated by Russian intelligence and activists and effectively the Russians want to cause a rebellion in Donetsk. This is the same scenario that has been played by Russians over and over in history. In 1939 they joined Hitler in the attack against Poland, waited 17 days (to Hitler's surprise) and then took their share, claiming they are protecting Russian speaking people like Belorussians (being within the Polish borders at that time). The same happened in other countries joined to the Soviet Union. The play the same scenario over and over. Do you remember what happened to Crimea? They took over the peninsula by sending unmarked forces, denying they were involved at all. Then they claimed they had been protecting Russian majority living in Crimea. They take over Ukraine piece by piece. actions. I wrote that because there are consequences of their Sadly, opposite the Russian bothers, our Ukrainian bothers cannot seek asylum in other countries, like the UK. Formally there is no war nor persecutions (so the government claims). Happily, brothers from Russia are getting asylum seeker status in the UK and other EU countries. To summarise - Eastern Ukraine remains uncontrolled by Ukrainian government. The government claims that the situation is better than in reality and Russia keeps calm denying any engagement in that. At the moment it is like living in the Wild West where there was no law and order.
