It seems that restrictions vary from one area to another even in our state of Texas, some areas people still meet together at the hall and do public witnessing because the number of cases is so very low.

The US Branch instructed Bodies of Elders "24. All forms of the public ministry are discontinued until further advised by the branch office....." are you indicating that certain areas of of Texas have recieved additional instructions from the branch authorizing public ministry? or is it some areas setting there own standards?

We had a Congregation here that started using their building for "participant only" meetings when the "mandatory stay at home" order was lifted. That was promptly discontinued when the CO heard about it - making reference to the letter @Old quoted above. Like one of our Elders is fond of saying, "Until I see it in writing, I will stick with the last direction"

@Old our CO told us that here are areas in Texas that have little to no restrictions. I thought that must be branch direction, but I can’t be certain without talking to someone from those areas.
