  1. My brother, John The situations that you refer to above are for a private situation. I was referring to situations where a brother is required to represent the congregation at a meeting for field service.
  2. So what are you doing for meetings for field service? Is the brother conducting the meeting for field service required to wear a tie or not? Is the brothers representing the group or congregation in prayer required to wear a tie and/or a jacket? Is it dependant on whether the meeting for field service takes place in someone's home or at the Kingdom Hall?
  3. I forgot to mention this, but this may help some. Mark Sanderson did a SKE Graduation in England on 14 January. He did not have a beard then. Evidenced by photos I have seen. 2 weeks later, Mark Sanderson did a SKE Graduation in Ireland. Then some facial hair was showing. What we saw in the update is the latest in the past 7-8 weeks. When the GB move fast, they move!
  4. Can sisters attend pionner school in their slacks? Do brothers who are attending theocratic schools need to wear ties? Do brothers who operate the AV equipment at meetings need to be wearing a tie and wearing a jacket? Do sisters who operate the AV equipment at meetings need to be wearing a dress or skirt? At elders & Servants meetings, do they have to wear a tie and wear a jacket as it isn't exactly worship they are engaged in? Man oh man the questions!
  5. So whose gonna dare come to the Memorial next week in their slacks and no ties?
  6. Apologies if this has been discussed, but cab someone show quickly how group overseers and their assistants can see who in their group still has to submit their report for the month?
  7. Some have said that following this decision, the GB should now consider whether sisters should wear pants (trousers). I'm a little unsure about this. Scriptural principles that come to mind are Deut 22:5 and 1 John 2:15
  8. Well done. I know of a brother in the UK (who doesn't attend Dudley by the way) who couldn't partake on the platform in his circuit assembly 2 weeks ago because he had a beard. The CO wouldn't allow it. Wouldn't want to imagine whose contacting who following yesterday's news.
  9. "And he will wipe out every razor from their eyes, and shaving will be no more, neither will blades, nor shaving cream, nor aftershave be anymore. The razor cuts have passed away."
  10. Are we going to have JW Beard oil suppliers now? You know... those ones with Etsy accounts and such like ...
  11. So ... is Gillette (shaving foam) the best thing a man could get now?
  12. Yeah it doesn't look like the report has been updated yet. Its 1 November now
