  1. Macy Mah is a pioneer who lives in Paris. She conducts bible tours at the Louvre. You can contact her via her website "Quirky Little Tour Company".
  2. The "rules" are Love of God and Love of Neighbour. It's up to each one of us as to how to apply those rules, remembering that we represent Jehovah and follow his higher standards.
  3. We've had one but I can't share unless I have permission from the young brother.
  4. Too much swearing in Wilderpeople for me.
  5. Emotional from exhaustion? Yes!! Even before this we were all struggling with one trial after another. So when the Governing Body discern that we're in the final part of the final part of the last days, when I hear from those in the Branch that the consensus is that they can 'smell Armageddon' (their term), when we've received our training via the recent conventions, when the light is so bright we can 'see' this world's end imminent, I'm basing my 'feelings on evidence. COVID-19 is just one aspect of the sign of the conclusion of the system of things. And Jesus said things would go from bad to worse. This pandemic has touched everyone. The fallout from it will be huge. The economy has tanked, brothers and sisters are out of work, and yet the commercial system will still be going along as they say too bad too bad you great city as they see the smoke rising from Babylon the Great' s destruction. It's a composite sign, and combined with every other aspect of the sign, shows how near the GT we are. The waters have dried up for Babylon, churches are closed, and it'll be a long time until they're allowed to be open at full capacity, if ever. And yet, when we speak to people on the telephone in our area, the attitude is "she'll be right mate", exactly the same as before this pandemic, in general they take no note. Are we in position, in our 'inner rooms", as the Jews were before Babylon was destroyed? Only time will tell. Our hope keeps us going. We're not going to fall out of the truth if this system goes on a bit longer than we expect, because Jehovah knows exactly the right time to end this mess. We know Satan's system is an utter failure and that Jehovah won't let it go on a millisecond longer than it takes for the challenge on his universal sovereignty to be proven beyond a doubt. Can it just be now though 😂😂
  6. https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/sydney-swelters-as-severe-wind-warning-issued-ahead-of-sweaty-night-20200123-p53tyh.html It's far from over.
  7. Our CO informed us this morning that 6 or 7 Witness families have lost their homes so far 😥 Brothers in a town called Batlow have been ordered to evacuate as there is no chance of saving the town.
  8. The issue of neutrality is so important, we can't support the protests even mentally.
  9. You could pick an area in Sydney and ring the congregation, the COBE will be able to let you know who has some room available.
  10. It's affecting people's lives in a big way, including our brothers. Natural disasters, food shortages, lack of water, loss of livelihoods, drought, extreme heat, extreme cold, to name just a few things. Extenction Rebellion groups around the world, climate strikes, in our own localities. The iron and clay is really manifesting itself. These groups are growing and say they won't stop until the governments listen and do something about it. The UN had made it one of their biggest issues and are talking more and more about multilateralism to solve these issues. I believe we're on the homestretch. Last week's WT showed a runner stretching out in the race while the rest were distracted. We're on the homestretch.
  11. Jehovah does it with style ! The nations talking about religious freedom and then BOOM a complete turnaround to accomplish 'his thought'. Expect the unexpected.
