  1. Hello friends, Are there transcripts for Bro Splane's and Bro Jackson's talk. I need to read it to digest it's full content. Thank you. Love you all.
  2. Hey, that's cute. I wish I could live there. I wonder what space saving ideas are inside?
  3. It is not uncommon during our researching of our territory householders that Google provides us with an address and a photo of their house. We get a good laugh when Google tells us the householder lives in a P.O. Box...but... apparently it's true for this householder. He does live in a PO Box and here's the proof. 😊
  4. I am doing the best I can and at 73, I take the threat of covid seriously. More people in my congregation have come down with covid lately then during the "pandemic". Last month a brother came into my store and as he was leaving, mentioned he had a cold and was getting tested. Yes, covid. Thankfully I still wear a mask and practice distancing. At the CO visit, a cargroup of sisters came down with covid. Several congregation sisters and their close relatives seem to pass it from family member to family member and have had covid multiple times and their fleshly elderly father has recently been in and out of the hospital due to covid. I chose not to get the vaccinations but I believe I have a valid reason. I have not been back to the Kingdom Hall, but I also don't go out to dinner, to the movies or any other crowded destinations. When I must go to the market, I go very early in the morning when most people are still in bed. I am in service with the same sister who I know is as careful as I try to be. She has had the vaccinations but has immunity & other health issues that unfortunately just pulled her off the Pioneer list.. I am sure I will be going back to the Kingdom Hall at some point but I'm not sure when. I do not believe I am lazy. And I don't believe that others in the congregation who continue on Zoom are either. I reason that I am more help to Jehovah alive than dead, so I continue to be cautious Jehovah knows I love him and that I try to be obedient. I trust that if he wants me in the new system...I won't be left out.
  5. These guys resemble Lucas, the spider. If a spider could save someone, I'm sure it would be Lucas.
  6. I would very much want David to study with me. I so want to express my love, trust and appreciation to Jehovah as he did.
  7. I'm not a big wine drinker, but I love vinegars, and rarely feel ill. I moved to Sonora, California, gold rush country, close to 40 years ago. For decades when we ordered something to be shipped to us, the response from the shipper was "Sonoma?", a coastal wine producing area, that everyone was familiar with. Our town had a slogan..."Sonora, not Sonoma. Gold not grapes". Well years later, our area has wine grapes growing everywhere that use to be beef cattle grazing lands.
  8. He has a wonderful name for the future...Aaron Michael. This man"s business would not really fit in a Witness life, although his polished but sincere appearing presence would fit in nicely as part of the volunteer video crew at Bethel. Satan probably snared him as a young man but, I wouldn't be surprised if he soon came back to Jehovah. Bro. Hendriks certainly glorified Jehovah and with every comment, displayed the fruitages of the Spirit. Hallelujah!
  9. I've forgotten. I'm sorry, but you were expecting that answer from someone...so it's out of the way now. 😁
  10. This Bee Gees parody is good. There is another parody of the song Bohemian Rhapsody . It is somewhat clever but doesn't sound like the original Oueen and of course, is long. I'll let you Google it if you want to hear it. I wasn't sure where to put this parody. It could go into the "encouragement thread" but I didn't want the public to think I was making fun of this very serious issue. I hope all the friends are "staying inside" and staying safe.❤
  11. Please, don't anyone tell me that Charlotte didn't save Wilbur. 🕸
  12. “I praise you because in an awe-inspiring way I am wonderfully made” - Ps 139:14 Watch "Scientists Discovered How Sleep Cleans Toxins From Your Brain" on YouTube https://youtu.be/GUGqraRfGnQ I'm going to think about this the next time my "entertainment activities" cut into my sleep schedule. We owe it to Jehovah to do the best we can for our personal health. I didn't realize that getting adequate restful sleep is vital for maintaining and improving our mental health and physical health.
  13. I actually have a decent memory except for keeping account of injury. I forget that I am mad at someone and when I remember, I don't remember why. I am blessed to get along with most personalities for short periods of time...like 3 hours of service time or the like. I wouldn't necessarily spend "relax" time (what's that?) with these same people but it is a real blessing that I don't have the time or energy to react or respond to mean, rude, sarcastic or stupid comments that in the big scheme don't matter at all. I just hope these friends ignore me when I make the same thoughtless comments. And I am so thankful that our loving Father doesn't keep a count of the injuries I cause. Praise Jah.
  14. I checked your profile just now to see if you were at one time "part of the world" as some of your words expressed thinking like the other side, as I do. While I'm not in the practical wisdom mode but experiencing the "overwhelmed" mode at present, I was able only to read half of your post. I will finish reading at another time and I'm sure I will have something somewhat relevant to add...maybe. 🙃
