  1. Hebrew Scriptures in 5 years is unrealistic in my opinion. If it's about to take 10 years to produce study notes for the Greek Scriptures, it will probably take another 20 to produce them for the Hebrew Scriptures. Jehovah willing, we'll have the full Study Bible by 2045. These are rough estimates on my part. If we want to be more precise, let's do the math. When looking up the VerseId in MEPS, we find that there are 23,261 verses in the Hebrew Scriptures, and 7,933 verses in the Christian Greek Scriptures. That's 2.93 times more material to research. Which means that my 20-year-estimate might be too optimistic as well. Nevertheless, we trust in Jehovah and His means to guide the earthly part of His organization and patiently wait for this and any other form of spiritual food that's being diligently served at its proper time for our benefit.
  2. The Finder method doesn't work until the video is visible on JW.org. You still need the GetPubMediaLinks URL to access the files on the CDN before they are indexed within the JW.org CMS. Of course anyone with some basic HTML knowledge can figure out how it works by using the View Source feature in the browser and searching for "getpubmedialinks". It's there in plain sight.
  3. I guess all of this is automated, and scheduled in advance for a specific time or time interval.
  4. Loyalty Means Discussing confidential things only after they are made generally known. Less than 24 hours remaining!
  5. We don't know... but we'll find out soon. However, there was no discussion about the cover per se during the annual meeting program.
  6. 48 publications are updated. Many updates are not necessarily textual updates, but just structural or formatting.
  7. The new cover design sure hints for an updated layout overall. It also proves to be more appropriate and inclusive for languages that have the words "Meeting Workbook" before "Our Christian Life and Ministry".
  8. Obviously when people are asleep or at work on one side of the globe, users on the other side would have different circumstances. Anyway, let us all exercise patience and rely on Jehovah's hand for the migration to be performed smoothly and hassle-free when the appointed time arrives.
  9. I think the May 2023 JWB program does indeed have episode number 96, because the two convention videos that have already been released have tracks no. 5 and 10, while the monthly program is always track no. 1.
  10. Next to Br. Knorr, in the checkered vest, you can notice Br. Fred Franz (front row, second from the left). UPDATE: I now see he has already been mentioned.
  11. In my opinion, "according to Jesus" probably means that it's not from one Gospel writer's perspective, but all Gospels combined, similar to what we have in print as the book "Jesus—The Way".
  12. For as long as I remember it was possible to open multiple instances of the same language edition of Watchtower Library.
  13. There is a technical explanation to that. The brochure is printed in two colors: black and, in this case, a blueish ink (seems like cyan with some magenta added to the composition). Apparently, when they had such publications, the second color was coded as magenta in the digital output. I remember when we first started receiving Our Kingdom Ministry PDF's, back when there were six rotating colors, all colors were magenta in the PDF, while the colors in print were matching the color on the cover of the study edition of The Watchtower for that given month.
  14. MEPS does indeed have support for Esperanto (language ID: 61 of 1387; mnemonic: ES).
  15. Yes, the release time is the "appointed time" It's not the same hour every month. Last month's was already uploaded in the back end at this hour, this month's broadcast is not yet uploaded. In about 8-10 hours (maybe earlier, maybe later) it should be visible on the front end of the website.
  16. The 2107 update is a what they call a "base" package (i.e. full installation of Watchtower Library), as compared to regular updates. which are incremental updates (they update only part of the library—publications, indexes, etc.) It's 2.4 GB in size, however the progress bar only shows 2,0 because it might have a 32-bit signed integer limitation (where 2^31 is the upper limit).
  17. bi7 covers have been mostly dark blue for several years now. The first one to have it was the Persian edition of the Christian Greek Scriptures, printed in September 2014.
  18. No. Bosko. There won't be any regular JWB episode in July or August. Those two months will feature the six convention sessions. The Fri A.M. program is released on June 28 so that the congregations are able to view the program during the first weekend of July. On July 5, the Fri P.M. program is due to be posted.
  19. Language-neutral artwork is reachable via a predictable JW.org asset URL at least a month ahead of the full magazine being available on Akamai's or Amazon's content delivery network the organization is using for the JW.org backend.
