I still have and use a landline. I also have a cell phone that I use sometimes and like to have it when I'm out and about. At present, we have Xfinity for our internet and up until this month it was 65$ a month, they jacked the price up to 122$ a month..I think they are beginning to panic because up until now they had the monopoly on cable and internet but there's a couple of new companies that are offering fiber optic internet at a much lower price. I gotta tell you, Xfinity is not the most honest company to deal with here. We're calling Monday to switch.

Satan is so busy, he's attacking the the building blocks of society, the family. I think that our just being imperfect humans means that we have to really fight to have or keep our marriages intact. I lost mine, but my daughter and I are fighting on.

My wish is to be cremated, and my remains sprinkled in the lake that I grew up living beside. My older daughter that died was sprinkled there too. It is also my wish that no one see my body unless it has to be identified and whether or not there is a memorial talk given, is up to my youngest daughter. No memorial talk is beginning to be a regular occurrence here.

It's 7 degrees F..with a wind chill of -9 F...it's cold!!

It's pretty cold here in East Tennessee..5 degrees, wind chill of -14..we lost power this morning around 4am for a short period of time, but it's been restored now.

My sister has a place in Estero, it's a little retirement park. They are here at home at present, but she was in touch with her friends as long as possible. Some of the residents were going to stay, because" God will protect them". She was trying to convince them all to leave, but nope..They all did finally leave when a roof from one of the homes flew thru the window of another. At last count, my Sister lost her carport..They will go down soon to evaluate and see if they even want to rebuild.

Cheetahs..have petted one, and hopefully, will again..
