What a great text. It highlights the point that it requires action on our part, as in we need to "Take up the large shield of faith".

This is a wonderful arrangement and it means our Brothers and Sisters in poorer countries can be assisted making their service to Jehovah even more joyful.

Certainly being humble receives praise from Jehovah.

It has been a challenge but it has allowed us to be more prepared for the future and to know that we can rely on the Governing Body.

I just got a chance to listen to it all today and found it very encouraging by being reminded to work towards holiness.

Good point. In fact maybe we don't need a hiding place at all since there is no such instruction for us and Jehovah can protect us wherever we are, even in a Lions Den. Maybe there's another angle to consider from the pictures we see in the Watchtower. We saw a family at the dinner table with the police coming in, they weren't hiding. However, when we see pictures of our Brothers and Sisters in hiding places we also see them prepared to study together. We expect further persecution and that will likely include our inability to study together in open.

It's wonderful to realize that we have so many spiritual treasures which keep growing and no thief or physical things can take away from us.

This is a most beautiful promise from Jehovah and one that I recall in times of anxiety. I pray and ask him to help me through and he surely allows e to throw my burden on him. It has helped me so much and is a source of strength.
