  1. Yes but it isn’t. It’s only available to pioneers going to the school. Last year, the year before that, the year before that, etc I was a regular pioneer. The last time that went to the school was with the old version of the book and before we had the app. I heard from others about the new book and the updated school. But I didn’t have access to either new book or new school. Yet I was a regular pioneer! Was I bothered? Well, in a way, I wished I could go again and see the updates. But I kept pioneering and now I have the new book and I’m going to the school. Do I view the pioneer school book as classified? I’m sorry bro, but that seems to be a laughable concept to me. Nothing in it is secret. It’s not kept in a safe behind an old master painting in my study, it’s out on my shelf. It’s information we all have free access to but condensed for the purposes of the training programme that is pioneer school. If you have an issue with it being like that I am sorry but I struggle to understand why.
  2. I’m going to pioneer school next week and I love having the book integrated into my JW Library app. I got it quite a few weeks ago and have had plenty of time to go through it and prepare. If anyone has had any trouble opening it in JW Library could they not ask for help from their CO or from an elder? Anyone feeling irked that the book is not freely available to all publishers, please bear in mind that there in nothing covered in Pioneer School, or indeed SKE or Gilead, which is not already printed in our publications.
  3. Acts 23: 13 There were more than 40 men who formed this oath-bound conspiracy. 14 These men went to the chief priests and the elders and said: “We have solemnly bound ourselves with a curse not to eat anything at all until we have killed Paul. Every time I read this I wonder how long they lasted. I imagine one being caught eating a couple of days later and someone saying to him, “I thought you weren’t eating until you killed Paul. You know, the one who’s been taken away by the Romans”. His answer, “I don’t want to talk about it!” 😂
  4. Actually at our most recent circuit visit pioneer meeting the circuit overseer advised us street work is better termed “informal witnessing” as our goal is not to give out tracts to people in passing, but to start conversations with people wherever we are. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  5. For me society now sounds quite old fashioned. As has been said above, the usual expression used now is organisation. Society is going towards belonging with colporteurs and back calls and all the other words we don’t use any more. 😁
  6. Yes I get that. It’s a part of your life. I wonder if our skin does heal up old marks if we’ll lose sun damage, i.e. tan, and go back to being our original skin shade that we had as babies.
  7. Maybe when we’re perfect our cuts will heal up faster. I imagine all our scars from these days will heal into fresh skin when we’re perfect so why wouldn’t our healing of future cuts and scrapes be better than the healing we have now? Either that or we’ll invent dermal regenerators like they use on Star Trek 😉
  8. A little waterfall I saw on a country walk on 1 January with local brothers and sisters in Northern England.
