  1. I have a 2 year old German Shepard named Echo. I love this dog to bits, and I could not imagine my life without her. She is a ball of fur and energy, and good protector! She protects me from all those vicious squrriels!
  2. Hello all.... This may be a bit of a long shot, but I figured this would be the best place to go. I am looking for someone I used to talk to on MSN Messenger back in 2006/07ish. I rememeber her name, but I cannot for the life of me rememeber her last name. I also have a photo of her from a convention from 06. I know its a long shot, but I figured this would be the best place to go. Any help would be appreciated
  3. Hello all! I am brother from Canada, more specifically the Ottawa area. I am planning a trip to Italy either Rome or Venice for December. I was wondering if anyone on here is from either of those areas that would like to hang out? I'd love to see the sights and do the whole tourist thing! Anyways, lemme know
  4. I would stay away from Attack on Titan. Its ridiculously grousome. My Hero Acadameia is good though, entertaining, good characters and such. I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z, and I continued with Dragon Ball Super. DBZ is always my go to anime. If you're looking for shows that aren't anime, but still good. Voltron Legendary Defender on Netflix is a good one
  5. I can't attest to the amount of snow that NWFL just got when it comes to experiencing it. But what I can say is that as long as you have power and theres heat and food in the house. You'll be fine.
  6. Just curious to know how our brother and sisters in Newfoundland are fairing after that wicked snowstorm that hit. With 73-93cms of snow. Hope everyone is doing well and is safe and sound
  7. I just checked the Canadian catalog online and it's a completely different book. They must have changed it in post
  8. This is great. I love this. Thanks for all the feed back. Its great being part of something so large, and so familiar!
  9. Ten to fifteen minutes each is the best for sure. It breaks it up nicely and gives us all a chance to relax mentally
  10. I am new here, so forgive me if these forums end up in the wrong place. But anyway as the title suggests, what is the funniest thing the speaker or brother giving a part did, or said? For me is was during the midweek meeting and I raised my hand to answer and the brother giving the part goes absolutely blank when it comes to being on stage and remembering peoples names. So he calls me "Brother so and so's brother" (Not going to use my real last name) The best part is that I am in the same congregation as my actual brother, so really all he had to do was stop at "brother so and so" The brother giving the part that night and I still have a good chuckle about it.
  11. Hello I am brother from Canada, and I have been a Witness for 30 years give or take. I just want to know what changes you have seen that you just love. For me its the screens at the summer assemblies. As a child growing up and trying to pay attention to what the speaker was saying was difficult. Hard to see, and such. Now that the screens are there, and you can see the speakers emotions and gestures, and the videos that area played is just phenomenal! Especially the dramas. So much easier to process everything.
