  1. Interesting article about the religious nature of this war. https://apple.news/Aq-Sa_gfpQnaCIaioiR_MIA The son of a Hamas founder said Hamas is even more dangerous than ISIS on Monday, claiming the mainstream media is afraid to call it a genocidal religious movement for fear of igniting a full-on religious war. 2. A few weeks ago my daughter and her husband went with a group to take out the speaker and his wife. The next morning they got a call that the speakers wife had “full blown Covid”. Apparently she wasn’t feeling great on Sunday but didn’t think much about it. A couple of days later my daughter started feeling bad and over the course of a couple of weeks had what she called the Covid variety pack. Lol Her tests were negative for Covid. I’m thinking the tests aren’t picking it up as well as before. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve heard of him but never watched anything. Um…demonic, creepy, weirdo. [emoji44] [emoji298]️ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Sofia, how do you measure your immunity? Are you measuring antibodies or something else? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Another question for Sofia For an unvaccinated person who had and recovered from covid (non severe), would exposure to covid again later be like an immunity booster? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. So here’s the kind of conflicting information I mentioned. There’s this article posted by Sophia. And then there’s this one I just noticed today. “Unvaccinated COVID survivors twice as likely to get reinfected, CDC study shows” https://www.wthr.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/shots-still-give-covid-19-survivors-big-immune-boost-studies-show/507-fd7a9964-7b2a-4536-b6dd-bdbbaa5205ca?fbclid=IwAR2BRgd6DoJY1kjXFg0R9S1PvmQM5OYIuUazgv97TzIP9Gf14sd6DFQsAZ4 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I was thinking that’s how it is but the info coming from every direction is so contradictory and confusing. [emoji43]‍[emoji94] I was thinking and curious about something. I don’t know if you know or have an answer but thought I’d ask. If a person had covid and recovered and then was exposed again at a later time, but didn’t get sick would that be almost like a booster for their natural immunity. I mean would it boost your immunity by being exposed again? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Would that mean that 40% hospitalized are vaccinated? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I was up and busy in the kitchen and didn’t notice. But my daughter just 2 doors down from me felt it. She said it was almost like vibrating or when somebody in the building slams their door. She texted and asked if I felt it and said she wasn’t sure if it was an earthquake until another sister asked on Facebook if anybody felt an earthquake. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I’ve been watching this one too. The whole thing is just sketchy, insane, and sad. They’re referred to as the doomsday couple. Apparently she believed or believes she’s part of the 144,000. 11. Kim ‘Is Begging for War,’ Nikki Haley Says, but Urges More Diplomacy - The New York Times https://apple.news/AZyNV01f7RDaC3cZHXo8RuA the Japanese ambassador to the United Nations, also stopped short of threatening imminent military action, but said the danger from North Korea had been “raised to an unprecedented level” and was “a grave threat to the peace and the security of the world.” With this being such a big deal at the moment, it will be interesting if there turns out to be a diplomatic solution that works. I could see lots of claims of peace and security after such a dangerous situation seems to be resolved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I guess it's because they're our family. It's not that no one cares about the others but the brothers are related to us in the faith. Losing family is always more painful.
  13. I feel like most of our letters will not be read. Probably neither will opposer letters. But theirs will just add to the volume of mail going in to Russia.
  14. Well I got it working. I'm not sure what she did but I redownloaded it for her and it works. Thanks for the ideas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes I did. It let her download the app without paying but when she tried to open it, it said she needs to pay for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. So I got the app on my iPad and it says family sharing is yes but it says this app is not shared when my daughter tries to open the app on her iPad. Any suggestions? Donna Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Haha! Jerry I thought I saw him too. When I saw the brother introducing and talking about the app I immediately thought of all the new apple unveils.
  18. This app is for Windows 8. Does this include smartphones running windows 8 too? I know of someone looking for it and couldnt find it. I have an iphone and got it last night tho.
  19. I love handmade stuff. Giving and getting too. My favorite things are sewing and I really like making knotted bracelets with hemp. I get a lot of requests for the bracelets from kids at the hall. I have a couple of shops on Etsy if ya wanna see pictures. I don't have pictures on this computer and dont have the concentration to try and figure out how to upload anyway. Here are the links to the stuff I like to do. I like to do rag quilts for baby showers if I can. I am still trying to get recovered from my surgery but will be helping my daughter sew some sleepmasks for my granddaughters sleepover in a couple of weeks. We'll see how that goes. I may just have to supervise. https://www.etsy.com/shop/NaturallyComfy https://www.etsy.com/shop/HempSpot
  20. From wikipedia The Daily Currant is an American satirical news blog that focuses on politics, technology, and entertainment.[1] A number of its satirical stories have been taken for true news reports by press and members of the public.[2]
  21. That's funny! I like how they say not to approach "the bodies" because they are dangerous. And people actually had to call and check out if it was true.
  22. One that we do a lot is mix a bag of oyster crackers and about 1/2 bag of pretzels together. Then pour and stir enough oil in it to get the crackers sticky enough for a pack or two of ranch dressing mix. The powder stuff. Mix it all up. It's easy, cheap and the kids love it.
  23. Hi Fiona, I am not in Pennsylvania, but wanted to see what you need and if I could help. I think you can have the brothers check specific hospitals or doctors for you. I had a place in mind for my surgery and our COBE called the brothers in that state to find out about it. They checked and a couple of the drs there were on their list. Anyway, doing a quick search I found these that might be good if you have to/can travel. One is pennsylvania the other is at cedars sinai in California. Also praying. http://www.cedars-sinai.edu/Bios---Physician/H-O/Michael-Lill-MD.aspx http://www.pennmedicine.org/bloodless/stem.html Donna
  24. http://portlandtribune.com/go/42-news/121560-heichel-family-shocked-that-murder-suspect-attended-their-church Here is the family’s statement: We were completely shocked to find out that Jonathan Holt, an irregular attendee of our meetings, was arrested and would be in any way tied to this case as a suspect. Jehovah’s Witness regard life as precious, a gift from God. We had no indications that would lead us, prior to this event that he would be capable of being involved in what is alleged to have happened. We have no knowledge of the events that led up to what took place with the disappearance of Whitney and know none of the details of what took place after her abduction. We will await the authorities' investigation, and fully cooperate with them as they work through this numbing and disturbing case. Our local congregations especially feel the pain. So many families have been severely impacted by this senseless act of violence committed against our daughter, sister, and friend. Jonathan’s wife is too an innocent victim, and our love and support is as strong for her and her family. It will take a long time for her to heal. With God’s help, and assistance from our brothers and sisters, we will recover and use our experience to help others.
  25. It hasn't sold that I know of. It's gonna be years before we'll have the new assembly hall. I think it was said that once property is acquired it will be 3 years to get it all done.
