I was raised in the truth by my aunt. Due to various pressures, I was away for many years. Then like the prodigal son, it was time to come home. I was baptized in November 2010.

  1. I'll be attending the same assembly in Indianapolis. I can't wait! I too heard that there will be Polish delegates there, but I not sure of what other delegates will be in attendance.

    JW Library - app

Does anyone know when the JW app update will be available for the Android platform? A brother told me to get an IPad when I was first considering buying a tablet. He said and I quote "all the brothers up at Bethel use iPads. When new releases come out they're released first for the Apple platform." I thought he was just saying that because he is an Apple geek. I prefer the Android platform. I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I guess I'm an Android fan. But now...I see that he was right. Oh well, must be patient.
  3. Thank you Walkr2 and Grumpy's Wife for the input. I did ask one of our tech savvy elders. I'm still waiting for the email.
  4. Sorry if this has already been asked, but how can you get an electronic version of the KM (preferably an epub)? I am planning on getting a tablet soon, but for now I use my Samsung Galaxy phone.

    Post a picture... Any picture

Hello everyone! I decided to post the picture that I took of myself with my cell phone. That was really funny. It's one of the pics I submitted per the instructions in the forum to get full membership. I'll be adding some other pics later on. Wish I had some pet pictures to put up, but I don't have any pets at the moment. I am thinking of getting a kitten in a few months. Would love to have a dog, but my apartment complex has a bias against dogs. You can have most pets -- just not a dog. Oh well, until I move...

Do you have an E book Reader?

Hi Dana! Hi Everyone! I currently do not have an eReader, but I do plan on getting one. I am leaning towards the Kindle Fire. Right now though, I have two different eReaders on my laptop (which is about the size of a tablet since it is a Dell mini) -- Kindle for PC and Adobe Digital Editions. I have also downloaded Calibre to convert pdf files into the file format that the Kindle app can read. But to be honest, my HTC Android can read eBooks as well. The screen size of course isn't as big as you would find on a tablet, but for me -- it does the job. I love being able to listen to the Watchtower mp3s and read right along through an eReader app. If you haven't tried this yet, I strongly recommend doing so.
